I can't give you a really good timeline. What I can say is that there is stuff on Victoria's sculpting bench at the moment that's been mentioned in the last few months on here.

I can also say that 3 forms of Flame Throwers are prototyped and shipping to Victoria, along with a shotgun, some pistols, and other stuff.

There will be more power and chain weapons coming Soon™ to her desk as well.

Currently on my desk for Victoria is the previously discussed dozer blade. BTW Dakka, you guys suck, I wanted to narrow it down to one design, not get "do all three!", but it gave Victoria a good laugh at my naivety.

Otherwise, I am largely engaged at the moment packing up my house, trying to sell it, and buying another one, and still cramming in commission work for her and other clients, plus a working vacation to the States later in March and April.

So if I go a bit quiet, please forgive me.

Thanks Faolan! Good luck with the move, and looking forward to seeing all the above. And yeah, sadly we all just love Vic stuff in infinite variety! Very little coherence. You want alternate ideas? We're your nerds. You want a coherent message? NOPE.

Run a whole lot of wfrp and other rpg's, play The Woods and Kill Team, gather and look mournfully at imperial guard knowing I'll never finish enough to use them on the tabletop

Good news, everyone!

I've just finished off the dozer blades for the Tilly.

That's right, Vic ordered two, so you'll have a choice. One is full on siege shield dozer, the other is best described as a Ramschaufelpanzer Panther type.

They *should* work with a normal Russ as well with some modifications, but I can't warranty that.

I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.

Maybe I missed it, but will the Matilda make her debut at Adepticon?

That... is a very good question.

I'm as eager to find out as you are.

I'll be flying into LAX, visiting my grandmother who lives in the area for a few days, and then flying to Adepticon (where I will be a goddamned icicle for my birthday) . After that, I'll be in Washington and Oregon until we fly back to Tassie.

Up here we call being an icicle "Spring time" and don't let the yankee media fool you its only a little bit of snow (3-4 inches tops)

At somepoint this summer I will be giving Vic some money, likely when those female Tannenburg troops come out...

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.

The Matilda is looking good.

Any chance of your releasing "special weapon" sized versions of the lewis gun and some bren guns?

Second the idea of a Bren and/or Lewis gun pack (particularly the Bren's...).

All I know is, mine will be without sponsons, they're a bit silly. But other than that, it is an ace design.

Weird. I strongly dislike Russes with sponsons thinking they look silly, but the Matildas sponsons I absolutely love.

Either way, it's fething gorgeous.

I'm going to use this for a Solar Auxilia list, whose Leman Russ tanks can't use sponsons anyway, so it's no big loss for me. What I dislike the most about these sponsons is, gunner sits where and how does he look outside?

First of I really need to remember to order the Spanish Inquisition 3 times I have ordered and forgot I like the Matilda but I don't know if it is the camera angle that makes the turret seem a little skinny for the body

I actually think the sponsons work quite well but think you missed a trick here, if the weapons were slightly smaller in length or the opening slightly larger you could have designed them to close away into the side opening.

The turret may be a bit tall and narrow, there's a part breakdown visible just below the minis with an assortment of turret weapon options, including the usual suspects.

I am sure it has been brought up earlier in this thread, but is there tentative pricing for the Matlida?

It's still some time off, problems with the tooling from what I've gathered. If I were to hazard a guess I'd say around $50 USD hopefully.

Maybe it's just me, but I think the Matilda would be a great base for a Predator tank rather than a Russ. Just a turret swap for the lower profiled Predator one and I think it'd be awesome.

Cheers BrookM I think I would do something to enlarge the turret some how, but the main body is pretty good and maybe with a different weapon option might make it seem more balanced.

Great Matilda. That's the first I've seen of your sponson solution, and I like it, although I second the idea of making the weapons a little shorter so they can completely 'hide' inside the hull.

I presume there'll also be a different side panel for customers who don't want sponsons.

It looks HUGE! I am assuming that is the master and the kits will be more down to scale for the troops? Love the details.

Yeah, I really like that idea for the sponsons. Although I'm finding myself wondering how hard it would be to cut out that central armour panel and angling it out slightly at the rear, so that the sponson gun can point directly forwards...

Yeah, maybe an alternate sponson option would be good - some opponents get really finicky about Line of Sight, and pedantically it's true these sponsons can't fire directly forward.

Ok... I don't know what is happening with the dozer blade ideas... but it turns out the real Matilda II actually had a dozer variant, maybe would be a good idea?
