@Kolath: The CDF heads and parts have done quite well, perhaps an additional 5 heads would be warranted. Just 5 more faces with the helmets, or do you want a sgt head in there, maybe with a cigar...?

Personally, just 5 more with the helmets. You could also attach some stuff to the helmets, like one with a flipped up night vision goggle attachment (exposing the face). Maybe one with the chin strap hanging open?

Probably be something more like this
A hanging strap can be a little problematic to cast but it's not impossible. This second set would probably be the helmets with the IR lens down and some more emotional expressions...fear, surprise, etc.

Not sure I understand the question. The control yoke turns on a vertical axis and shifts the front wheel to left or right to enable turning. That's basically how the RL treadbike worked.
Hope that helps.

That's exactly what I needed, thanks -- sounds like there's enough flex in the tread that it turns on the front wheel?
Basically, I like to ensure at least one model in a bike squadron is doing a hard turn and firing one-handed at something. Puppetwars' bikes are easy for that, GW's are ... not easy. Seems like this should be easy enough, mostly just titling the model and getting the driver a good arm.
Thanks!

OK, I now I get it. Yep, one could also probably lean in and skid to some kind of firing pose where the bike is leaning over a bit.
Heck of a question, thanks!

As an aside: anyone considering buying the rather excellent torsos that Mad Robot creates should know that the Tannenburg Palace Guard arms from the equally excellent Victoria Minis are off scale slightly, with Vic's models being more 2nd ed IG in scale, and Mad Robot's being more in line with the current plastics. I got it to work, but it's a bit off.
I'd go with one line or the other, but I will say sculpting epaulets are easier than it seems.

I think the Vic arms look all right from here, but I was waiting to see the arms that Steve is working on first.
Steve what kind of look are you heading for with the legs ? Boots wise I mean more than anything will you be going jack boots or more a napoleonic look ?

Correct, after the basic legs will be Imperial Legs, carapace legs, even an update to the Sadoukadi Greatcoats as well.
What do people think about an arms/legs Kickstarter? I may consider one once I can get my first sets completed.

I think one of the biggest things missing from most lines is decent arms. I mean, every company puts out fifteen head varients and a hand full of torsos, but legs are fairly rare and arms are virtually nonexistant. I don't know all the ins and outs of the kickstarter world and how it effects businesses, but it's certainly something worth looking into, and I'm sure people are scrambling for arms that don't have shoulder pads the size of their helmets.

Everything is great Steve! I am certainly sure we could band together and kickstart anything you feel like doing! :-) I agree that legs in differing poses for squads would be brilliant as would a good choice of arms to give these guys some good character, not to mention those among us wish to use models for diorama's and the like!

As much as I am not a fan of Kickstarters (the general delay curse that seems to happen to all ) I would be tempted to join this one as the need and demand for arms sets and legs is a shortfall in the gaming world
However can I ask that you make some more relaxed posed arms and legs sets please, the reason I say this is because not all of us are gamers so the need for more diorama styled appendages would be much needed.
By this I mean at rest smoking drinking hands on hips even, maybe a leaning posed miniature would be great, I know this is a lot to ask but this could be a key factor to boosting interest.

And, for the love of everything, we don't need any more 'Disco' poses, or pointing index fingers, and so forth. We need open hands, simple closed fists, hands holding things, etc.
