New stuff is great and all, but they need to make more and better figurines. All the primarchs and the famous captains-Ahriman, Garro, Eidolon, etc.
What do you think?

They said thay will create all primarchs (we can wait Motri in November), and may be more HH characters, but not all. Of course, if they will create all our favorites miniatures it will be greate, but we have to be realistic.

There were abbadon and loken miniatures at games day and I'm pretty sure they said they were making all 18 primarchs + big E. also heard something about multiple versions of some primarchs (daemon prince form perhaps).

They are working on stuff as fast as they can, dude. It takes a lot of work to make and produce new sculpts. As far as stuff announced but not for sale, we've got Legion-specific Contemptor Dreadnoughts, Justaerin Terminators, new PA-sized Autocannons, drum-fed Heavy Bolters, an Abaddon vs. Loken display, Adeptus Mechanicus stuff, and the rest of the Primarchs all on the way.

Be patient.

I personaly don't think that Forgeworld should work more on the Horus Heresy range, mainly because i am not in the least interested in that range.
On the other hand i would love to see a proper Forgeworld 1k sons/ Noise marine upgrade set or perhaps Talarn/Mordian/Steel Legion infantry for their IG line, or more Dark Eldar stuff.

I hope they stil devote the same amount of time and resources to their Imperial Armour books.

Heresy stuff is great for a while, but all the Space Marine stuff is already starting to grate. I want to see some more xenos stuff from them.

That's exactly what they're doing.

What you thought they were just going to release one primarch and one book for 4 of the legions?

These things take time. Have some patience.

Yeah, they need to put lots of effort into the Primarch models. They got to be careful and put some thought into it.

Angron turned out very nicely. I can't wait for Dorn. Maybe I'll pick him up.

So what you're saying is that they should do exactly, almost down to the letter, what they're already doing right now.

Yeah, I'll go call Alan Blythe and tell him to get on it.

If they worked faster, the minis would be rushed and look terrible. Forgeworld has been cranking out pre-heresy minis for over a year now.

They are doing 20 primarch models, plus Big E when they get to the SoT. The two dupes are Horus (certainly - they mentioned "this" Horus when talking about his stats and abilities) and Fulgrim (probably, based on the seminar)

All primarchs have been stat'ed up already, and they didnt go stas first, they went "what role does htis guy play - melee, multiplier and psychic stuff" and plotted everybody on that scale.

There's definitely scope for more than just Fulgrim and Horus being redone. Angron, Mortarion and Magnus were also very different by the Seige of Terra.

I believe you mean to say 18, unless they really are doing the two lost primarchs as well. Wouldn't that be a heck of a way to introduce them.

The FW HH models are much sexier than the GW 40k equivalents imo, but it all being SM is getting a bit boring. I hope they keep working on 40k era stuff too.

At £50 a pop it's likely they'll sell in low numbers anyway, not a hard limit on production, but they'll still be very exclusive, probably less than 1000 will ever be produced of the less well known primarchs.

Is that why Angron sold out within a couple of hours at Games Day? These Primarchs will sell like hot-cakes.

Nope, 20, which is why I said 20 primarch MODELS, not 20 "primarchs"

There may be scope for me, but those are the 20 they have worked rules out for. There was a question on the other 2; they're not going to talk about them or do them - istvaan III is where they start the heresy series, as it is when the shooting first started.

Someone did then ask, on the FB page, about "pre heresy" chaos space marines ,and whether they would make any. Sigh!

If the Angron model had been limited to 1000 models, it would already be sold out.

Yep, no idea where people are getting "limited edition" from - the heresy book 1 and the model were in limited supply AT Games Day, but that doesnt mean they are "limited" by any means.

Just to play devil's advocate:

Not all of the primarchs will sell as well as Angron. You have to keep in mind:

1: He is a popular primarch in his own right. Not all primarchs (Perturabo, Dorn) are going to have the same level of fan following.

2: More importantly, he was the first primarch model. He was something we had never seen before. I'm sure many of the fans wo bought him have no intention of playing World Eaters. They just bought him for the cool factor. Later primarchs won't have this advantage.

So, to agree with the above poster, I don't think there will be a hard limit on the number of primarch models, but they will be produced in small numbers. Keep in mind that much of Forgeworld's catalogue is cast on demand.

1) On what basis are you assuming that Angron is more popular than the other big P's? Sounds like conjecture given that, to me, Dorn would seem a very, very popular choice.

2) Only we have seen it before, multiple times, in the form of third-party Primarch figures. Hell; the FW Angron model resembles that other third party Angron model in so many ways. 'Having no intention to play World Eaters' sticks for little. If people have no intention to play World Eaters, why won't they have little intention to play any other Legion whose Primarch is available to purchase? I'm sure many of the fans will be purchasing as many as their funds will allow, for a plethora of reasons.

Eh; why are we discussing this? Spent all day in digital workshops at university. Time to do some painting!

Yeah, just one Space Marine faction per book is not enough, we need more Space Marine vs. Space Marine books, I am tired of all those Sororitas releases
