I need to buy some of the little Selguts so I can paint them in blue/red/camo when I can get the big one, it will be Domelaz-III

You mean the larger scale or in this similar to BFG scale?

The smaller BFG sized for the paint experiments for schemes, but I intend to get a 1/1000 scale one to keep in the colors of General Domel's ship as I already have a S.M.I.T.E. equipped bridge that came with the red carrier. I will keep the bridge saucer for the new kit as the standard design, that will allow the before and after

Finished my Dust Tactics Winterchild.

Yeah, those new yamato 2199 ships are the perfect size, the previous ones were to big to be cruisers..

They were all crap in the 80's had to use rubberbands on plane wings to glue them shut.

Went to streetfesta in Namba on Saturday and the JIGG Kobe Boardgame game day but i got some work done on the Battlefleet gothic stuff magnetized more weapon bays and broke a drill in the process, 1 and half cm inside my finger, auch, found an interesting model kit and a new ED209 gashapon figure in Osaka and slightly modified one of Space hulk mini's and started to paint it.

Ooooh! remodeled ED-209!

The second hand BFG ships didn't have enough turrets for the lance bays so i rummaged trough my bit box to use some things that can be used as turrets.


And dome more done on the Spac Hulk Mini

I'd seen some capsule machines with the Robocop stuff. Almost got some, until I saw the price.

Did you headswap that Termie? He looks kind of bored.

How much was it? normally here it is about 300 a 400 yen (3/4 Dollarish)

Yeah a Headswap cut off the skull and replaced it with the Dark Angel Captain head, He is bored because his suit is too damaged and he has too wait for the techmarine to fix it

I want to say I saw them going for about 5-600 in the machines.

That is about normal price for bigger and licensed stuff, i bought mine at a shop slightly more expensive, but no randomness

Working on the miniatures for a Japanese Board game called Dorasure, I hope to finish and use them this Sunday.

I wonder if the Mekakore version of the Murasame is as big as the 1/1000 scale one?

The Yukikaze was defeinitely a bigger scale than it's 1/1000 scale cousin.

I still don't get why miniature gaming isn't more popular in Japan. You'd think that the opportunity to build models, paint them, and kitbash them would make it really popular.

I should pick up that Murasame at some point. I still find it amusing that the super cheap non-scale kits are bigger than the expensive scaled ones.

Because of space constraints, they build the kits make pictures of them and then get rid of them when the new version comes out. I guess they are meant as toys ford kids, less breakage (maybe )

Well, the Mekakore are off scale and have the look of the vessels, the accurate scaled kits they are not selling a single model, but sets, such as the fleet sets, where you get 3-or more modesl for about 30bucks and they are as I have shown, detailed very well, and portray the ships compared to each other accurately

I don't think they are to scale as all ships have similar sizes, even the fighters are as big as the spaceships

Made an inquisitor from Valkir parts, anvil industries, max mini and forgot the name of the company of the halberd. Used one of the dream forge heads yo make the IMEF reaper figure look like one of the bad guys from killzone 2

Made an BFG Battlecruiser from parts that i had lying around, need to put on some more stuff.

Currently looks like some kind of fat ass troop transport. So it's not bad at all.

Do I spot spare mecha bits for the engineering sections? and that is a large carrier based on the gothic section as those are launch bays, very nice

Will add some gubbins later, all my bays are magnetized, even the prow is magnetized so i can change it.

Had a half armored core gashapon figure lying around cut that one up.

So next a bridge section and dorsal batteries?
