Hi, im about to do a trade my dark vengence models +40$ without terminators and company master for 3x10 tactical squad and 5 terminators, squads are painted, should i ask for his land speeder or is that good? my models are assembled and glued some primed.

No, that sounds quite bad. $140 (more if you take the price from each item in the box individually) is roughly equivalent, but you get far more from DV than what he's offering, in my personal opinion.

Unless you play Vanilla Marines, in which case, it might be worth it...

hmmmmm, true what if he threw in a land speeder? also what if i offer DV for some Tyranids?

I'm really not that aware, but the 'nids seems like quite a good start-up. Just needs a few MCs added, or can be played out of the box.

I'm just giving you a vague guide, I have very little experience personally.

The DV models aren't worth $100... Look up the models on ebay and go from there. IMO your initial deal minus his Landspeeder was good.

Of course you should ask for his Land Speeder. And you should also ask for $500 cash and all of his other models. If you have an opportunity to get more out of a deal why wouldn't you?

Is it a good deal?
Only you can answer that.
1) Are you happy with what you'd be giving vs. receiving?
2) Have you seen pics of the painted models (NEVER trade for painted models without seeing GOOD, CLEAR pics).
3) Are you getting what you WANT?

If the answer to all 3 questions is, "Yes," then it sounds like a good trade. If you have any apprehension, which I'd guess you may, since you posted here for help, then don't do the trade.

The dollar value of everything is (a) relative and (b) inconsequential.
Something's only worth what someone will give you for it. Regardless what price DV models are selling for on feebay, if you can't get anyone her to give you that much in trade or sale, then they're not worth that much here. On the other hand, if you can get more, then they're clearly worth more.

What I have here is an assembled Chaos Space Marine army with the mark of Nurgle (Death Guard). They have not been painted at all except the Nurgle Raptors, Typhus, and Herold which has been primed. The army has been put together with Forge World kits and some forge world fine cast models have been added to the collection.. the army needs some repair only 2 men at most out of the rest em have been repaired..

The army consists of:

2 Dreadnoughts
10 Nurgle Raptors (Conversions supplied with metal washers for bases)
20 Nurgle Chaos Space Marines (10 men squads)
7 Plague Marines
1 Typhus
1 Nurgle Chaos Sorcerer
1 Nurgle Blight Drone
5 Chaos Nurgle Havoks
1 Chaos Space Marine Codex
1 Chaos Damon Prince & Herold

With this army you will be supplied the Glue, Washers for the Raptors, Decals if needed, and two extra body parts if ever need em..

This is the ad, he might want to trade for my DV models straight is I a good deal

If he is willing to trade that straight for the DV Marines, (minus master and terminators), and the DV CHaos..

*I* would do that trade straight IF I got pictures of the models and their condition. (and got these questions answered)..

The pictures are good (but the first post is highly repetetive)..

Is he local to you? If not.. there are a lot of trade protections you will need to do to avoid losing your models in trade
