Vitruvian XVII has left the Cave Age. Vitruvian XVII has been saved.

The Cave Age had an unusual spawn point when I generated it (it was missing the normal platform that gets generated). So it's possible the platform is buried in the rock somewhere. I'll do a few suicide trips tonight and see if I can locate it and make it safe, with a quick return path to the nexus, or move the nexus to be nearer.

Check you've definitely typed the 25585 part correctly. Port out of range sounds like you might have typed 255585 by accident (or similar).

The Swastika is often seen as a sign of new beginnings or striving to be better. I honestly think people need to stop crying about it when it is used. It has been around for far longer then the Nazi party and does not bear any relation to the twisted meaning they brought to it. Its about time the swastikas name is cleared....

On a different note I havn't been on the server yet so i definitely didn't make it.

It's spinning the other way, so it's actually the hindu symbol for peace.

Also those aren't 3 crucibles but one crucible and 2 alembics, the map doesn't render them correctly.

My grand father was in one of those as a child and developed severe thrauma issues, now he's dead due to something in the brain caused by tge mental illness he got from being in one of the concentration camp.

I don't think it hugely matters what the law says. Within the Western World, the Swastika is seen as a Nazi symbol. Therefore, displaying it is just crude.

That said, it's easily the best-designed swastika I've seen in minecraft, and it could easily be developed into something cool.

Not only has it been around for 5,000 as a peace symbol, it's also been around for thousands of years in lots of cultures and religions all over the world; not just the Middle East or non-Western.

The adoption of it by an evil dictatorship has stigmatised it, but several years of use by one questionable group can hardly erase thousands of years of use before it.

If I erected a giant cross would I be condemned for advocating paedophilia based off the questionable actions of some members of the Christian faith, or advocating the Crusades, or advocating the denounciation of homosexuals? No, because that's utterly stupid.

What if I built things bearing Islamic iconography? Would I be advocating the actions of radical extremist groups? No, because that's utterly stupid.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we should keep the swastika, but what I am saying is that by attacking it based on the actions of one group, we are ignoring its entire history - history that completely and utterly seperated it from the depraved actions of those who took it as their icon.

EDIT: I also feel we're dragging the thread off topic. How about we drop the whole "remove it" and move on to trying to compromise. As 4 said, it could be developed into something cool, so if doing that instead of bulldozing it - as some people want to happen - is the best way forward, then think up ideas.

As long as it ain't on fire. You could make it larger and build it so that it is complex but you have to look at it in order to know if it is a nazi symbol. There are also 4 dots and it is not diagonal all straight lines

Seems lit enough to keep mob spawns outside the fenced area and the fences prevent monsters coming in with the exception of spiders.

Mars doesn't have much to offer atm but if you're passing through and need a safe place for the night it should hold you over.

Well. It turns out that in the Ultimate Pack, there's some issues with blocks- namely, metal blocks. I've now got about a half-dozen different kinds of Tin, 2 kinds of Lead (one of which doesn't play well with any of the mods), and Silver Blocks and Blocks of Silver are two different things, with different textures, and different stackabilities.

Any way to fix this?

Smack the mod makers with a rolled up newspaper.
