- Plastic huge Treeman —also can be used by WE—. It's been done since two years ago. It was thought only for WE but has been put into this wave for HE because of the lack of ideas.
That sentence concerns me a little, oh well guess we'll just have to see.
Although I expect them to reduce the number of magic items available I really hope they don't pull an O&G on us.

The think the only problem with the isle of blood models is the sprues were all mixed up (I think in an understandable attempt to curb easy resales of the sprues since the box is a crazy bargain).
Otherwise, I'd gladly take, and buy, a couple battalions if they had the LSG and maybe even the Reavers in there. Don't care that they are fix posed.
And on a side note to GW, the fixed posed are the BEST placed to utilize co-gender units.

List of where models fit in the slots and a few new models.
Dragon princes apparently listed as mounted on horse in special, and on a monstrous mount in rare. Sounds quite exciting but mostly what we have heard previously.

That seems...not so correct.

Anything is proabably better then "We'll give you extra special choices, but by the way, everything in the army is a special choice, so you are really more limited then most armies."
As long as some stuff kicks over to rare, and preferably Silver Helms back to common, I'll be happy.

First few images are up, I don't think these links will last long but they should be plastered everywhere by tomorrow.
Eagle chariot - could have been worse right?
*Shrug* he's kinda cool
Shadow warriors - pretty disappointed at this point.
Maidenguard?
Everqueen?
Rumoured combat mage?

The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

Chariot is fine.
Sea Guard BSB is meh, but then I don't generally like the Sea Guard models.
Shadow Warriors are ok(hopefully they have rules worth taking)
Maidenguard are ok, I'd rather they not all be leaning on rocks.
Everqueen looks like a tranny.
Battlemage looks like he's dancing, although I do like the samurai vibe he's got going on.

Also it looks like that second image of the lord on foot is a variation you can build from the Eagle Chariot.
It's the same armor, the same shield, and the same pose. The only difference is the trident rather than the banner.

Eagle Chariot: looks all right, even if the concept is a bit silly.
Battle standard bearer: I like this model.
Shadow Warriors: what I'd expect, really.
Maidenguard: pretty cool - nice to see they're dressed for battle and not for Jabba's palace! Looks as if they may well share a box with the SWs.
Mage lady (presumably Everqueen?) not big on the head gear.
Combat mage: looks...eager.

That appears correct. If he can head swap then I like him, as again I do not care for the Sea Guard aesthetic. I generally don't like models that are forced into a theme, especially character models.

I hope you have some meat tenderizer.. Cause that Combat Mage is hurling Jellyfish at people!

Indeed!!!
Luckily it looks like he could do an easy hand swap with parts from the Mage kit.

Overall impressions:
Sky Chariot or Flying Row Boat (FRB)... well the eagle is badass. Big Hat Guy is gonna fall out when the helmet 'wings' generate too much lift.
Big Hat Guy Standard Bearer variant is a much better use of that model, this I dig.
Shadow Warriors: I like them, BUT, how you gonna use a bow and a sword at the SAME TIME???? Unless your bow is just a club.
Everqueen: the pope hat with anime hair... really? She's going to need serious reworking before I ever use this model in place of my Old Metal EQ.
Maidenguard: These I dig too. I might miss the girls in their Halloween 'Roman Maiden" costumes, but these actually look like they could hurt someone rather than get drunk at a party. From the looks of it, the legs are definitely the same between the shadow warriors and maiden guard, the arms may be too. We'll see soon.
Mage: he'll make someone a great fantasy samurai model, but not for my High Elves. He just looks like they took a decent mage model, threw on full plate legs (wtf is the scalemail?), a fairly typical "heroic" sword, final fantasy spell effect blob, and mucked up his armor enough to look Samurai. Just too many influences going on there that it looks bleh...
Is it me, or has the Everqueens hair been styled and sculpted by the same person who did those Mierce Miniature pole dancers, the ones with the rope for hair?
