Hi,
does anyone know if Mousemuffins Designs http://www.mousemuffins.com/ is again out of business?
I try to order from him for half a year, but he doesn't answer my emails.
He makes nice models usable for Eldar:

He's still around, as he posts quite a bit on the WargamerAU forums. He's doing the design work for a company selling laser-cut MDF terrain.
Not sure what the deal is with his own stuff, though.

Craig (Mousemuffins) now works for a Aussie Terrain company, CnC, doing design work for them, so his resin minis have taken a back seat. I'll poke him and tell him to get of his butt and contact you.

Ow.
Okay, yes, sorry, I don't tend to use that e-mail anymore because stupid amounts of spam and CBF.
Basically, the cost of having my stuff produced is just too prohibitive in this country. I need to look into other possibilties but don't really know where to start. Any suggestions?

Good timing! I just registered on wargamerau as another route to contacting you, after I didn't hear back from emails, and had been waiting for my account to be approved by admin there. Would really like some of your Lamenters pads (I even went to far as to contact a few of your previous customers to ask them if they had spares to sell on; am telling you this so know your stuff is good and in-demand).
I can understand real-life issues; perhaps you could consider selling the moulds to another company like Chapterhouse, Maxmini, Vic Minis (who is also in Aus), or Kromlech? Alternatively I know some sculptors get their stuff cast by Troll Forged.
Your stuff is great. It would be a shame for it to go out of production.
In the meantime, if you do have some Lamenters pads left to sell, please let me know.

Well, I have send 2 PMs to him here on Dakka. Same reaction as half a year of emails: None.
Guess that's it. I won't try to contact him again. Enough is enough.
And anyone visiting his website is still fooled into emailing to the dead address, after reading on the front page that he is back.

That is a bummer, as those models are nice.
Look on the brightside though - at least you're not out anything other than the miniscule amount of effort it took to write a couple emails / PM's.
It's not like you bought something and he disappeared into the ether (has happened to me before, with both gaming and non-gaming stuff).
Life happens sometimes.

He replied in this thread that he's not doing it anymore due to the cost of producing his stuff in Australia. Contacting him to buy stuff when he's ready said it's not going to happen was never going to be productive, unless you were PMing him about more cost effective production methods. Yeah, his website is still live. Yes, people who email it asking to buy stuff will get no response. He already also said he doesn't respond to that email address because he can't be fethed (CBF). That's... a pretty Australian attitude right there So people who want his stuff are just out a little bit of time it took to email him, no actual money lost, just time. He's busy with an actual job, which happens. He can't be bothered taking down the website, which happens (especially in Australia). There's no reason to get snarky about it.
