Pretty much the title..... if my bikes move, then charge, do they still get the 5+ jink save until the start of their next movement phase?

Jink saves are cover saves.
Can you take a cover save against a close combat attack?

Models do not benefit from cover saves against close combat attacks. (first sentence p26). The jink special rule grants a cover save. So to answer your question:
- Your models would not get a cover save against the close combat attacks.
- Your models WOULD get a cover save against any shooting attacks that hit your models while they were in close combat (tesla arcs, blast scatters, etc).
- If the combat was resolved that turn, your models would continue to have their cover save against enemy shooting attacks until their next movement phase.

Read how jink works. The only way you would've get the jink save is if you didn't move at all. Charging and moving in your movement phase count as moving.

Yes, you have a jink save, but a Jink save is a cover save, you don't get to take cover saves against close combat attacks. If they tottally wipe out the unit they charge, they will have a 5+ jink when they disengage.

Although if you get hit by a shooting attack during that time for any reason (scattering blasts, consolidating after winning combat in your turn, etc.), then you will still have that save.

I know it's probably a typo, but your post is misleading, and you disagree with yourself with the current wording.

BRB page 26 - you do not get cover saves in CC.
Jink saves are cover saves, you don't get them in CC.

Actually, the rule is that you don't get cover saves from CC attacks. If you are in CC and somehow suffer a wound from a shooting attack (blast scatter, Karamazov, etc) then you can still take any applicable cover save.

If jink saves=cover saves..... if you have bikers that dont move, but have skilled rider, do they get a 6+ save?
I'm thinking of my Ravenwing Black Knights in games I dont go first.

Re-read Skilled rider, it answers this. (Page number is in the index).

While I agree, the way its worded if the bikers were starting in cove. Skilled Rider will not add its bonus to a terrain cover save, it doesn't say that if they have not moved they would not get a 6+ jink save.
Kinda like the chaos mark giving +1 to invulnerable saves, or giving a 6+ if it has no invuln.
I think overall you are right, I'm just fishing for ideas as jink reliant armies kinda got the boot in the butt when scout was changed from a move to a re-deployment.

The rules don't say I can't place my models back on the board after you've killed them and use them next turn, but that doesn't mean I can do it. The rules system is permissive: this means you may only do things you are expressly allowed to do or that the rules imply you can do. You are not allowed to do anything else.
Skilled rider adds to their jink save, if they can not take a jink save skilled rider does nothing for them.
