So Crimson Slaughter have their supplement... Looks like one of the legion's is up next? Or just generic god stuff with demon synergy? Hmmmm.

(Sorry if this has been posted already, I could not find it)

What OS is it?

Actually, largely irrelevant, the normal way is press and hold the text, then reshape the highlight box to cover what you want to transfer.

This almost reads like something one would write in order to validate one's other spurious rumours, n'est pas?

Bretons? Are we getting an Elder Scrolls themed army for WHFB now?

I could actually see some of these coming true, except for those WHFB rules.. I would also expect Beastmen before OnG, but who knows.

Um.. no. They simply said that Dark Vengence would be repackaged with the new book. It was recalled from stores a few weeks/months back as well. They have to have something to sell starter set-wise between May and August. The statement doesn't prove or disprove anything so we're still left with a rumor.

Out of curiosity, why not? They're right on schedule to release the next edition on their typical 4-year time frame.

Personally, I wouldn't mind a new edition that was more of a tweak than a restructuring. I like 8th, but would like Steadfast and the magic phase changed a bit.

Putting aside the validity of the rumours or their lack thereof, that would be easy to explain.

The shaky first half of the year meant that management needed something large and reliable to solicit a large cash injection before FYE. The new edition of WHFB was scheduled for now, but was unlikely to generate the cash needed, so was bumped to later in the year, and all hands were assigned to getting 40K 7th done in time to grab some dosh.

Not only does that make sense, it also fits with the initial tipsters claiming WHFB for a new release this year and nobody even thinking about a new 40K until quite recently.

40K radio said no starter and I'd believe them over Faeit any day.

There were three wars for Armageddon and I believe only one is covered in the core apoc book.

8th pretty much killed WFB in my area. It needs to go back to the days of 20 model units not this 50 models per unit if it wants to attract new players, it is far too expensive in its current form. Magic also needs toning down, it is way too destructive. No one wants to paint up 50 models to have them all die in a single magic phase.

Several 4chan threads were mentioning possible Dark Eldar releases as well. Mentioned plastic wrachs, a new haemonculi, and a large construct. But 4chan isn't known for their reliability.

Anonymous 4chan posts are one of the least reliable rumor sources that we track.

It's almost like 4chan is an anonymous source, like whoever supplies rumors to naftka.

Oh wait

Anonymous sources aren't, in themselves, bad. Rumor mongers who use un-vetted anonymous sources are bad.
