On Halloween no less!
Also, how is it that this info hasn't been posted yet?
For shame on all the Aussies running around this place!

Man was that a tough game for Argentina. From the start they were getting hit hard, then the yellow card. They fought until the last minute though so nothing to be ashamed of!! Glad to see them growing into a World Class side.
Pocock was a freaking monster, very impressive!! I'm excited to see the breakdown battle in the final.
Can't wait for the final!!

Indeed.... And already I've seen the rugby pundits claiming that the scrambling defense that Australia was able to "survive" with last weekend against the Pumas, simply won't work against the ABs.
Still, I am thinking about setting the PPV up to record it for me, because I think it should be quite the cracking match.

Huh.
I'm not interested in rugby, but it might be a reason to head to a few new pubs we were wanting to check out.

I know right? When I wore a pair outside of rugby for the first time because I'd been too lazy to do the washing in grade 8, my whole world opened up.
So what are your tips thread. I want Aus to get up by 5, but I can see the All Blacks doing it by 7 :(

Kind of funny who the final four turned out to be. We could have all just watched "The Rugby Chapionship" instead. Just shows how elite that tournament is. Argentina must have been so honuored to be asked to join the Tri-Nations as a permanent member.

Should be a great final. The All Blacks never really looked like losing and played the conditions perfectly, the only thing keeping the Boks in it were a few unnecessary penalties. Argentina really didn't help themselves, and gave away a couple of tries, while Pocock and Hooper did their usual great job at the breakdown.

Basically sums up my thoughts on the semi's. Though I was really pulling for Argentina, so sad.

3-3 looking all NZ at the moment, although our scrum is winning us penalties if we can force fhe scrums
6-3 NZ. Out freaking lineout is really killing us
And so is that call (well, lack of a call) putting them 9-3 up. Ouch. And another knock on getting missed puts us on the back foot and they score. Well this is over.

This was more the margin I predicted pre game

Yeah he's a freak. It'll be a shame/relief to see him go when he does. Is he also going after this, or is it just McCaw? I've heard both.
With the amount of free ball we gave them/momentum we lost screwing up lineouts I feel we never really posed a legitimate threat
Yeah by far the better team won. That wasn't an effort from the Wallabies worth staying up until 0400 for.

Good game Aussies - closer than the final score suggested.
Great to see McCaw, Carter, et al going out on a high.
And thanks to England for a fantastic tournament.
Go the ABs!!!

McCaw, Carter, and Manalua all retiring it. Wouldn't surprise me to see Barret get some more time on the pitch filling the large shoes of Carter.

I saw an article/picture floating around that it was 6 All Blacks playing their "last" game in the black shirt today... I think it was McCaw, Carter, Mealamu, Kaino, B. Smith..... and possibly Nonu (but I can't seem to remember the 6th person)
And heck of a match. That 79th minute try by Barrett was a real thing of beauty.
