Not necessarily. Gorechosen was on the cover this month and it doesn't release until next week.
The new white dwarf seems to be going for half review half preview so it will be sometime between the middle of October and the Middle of November.

To be fair though, Gorechosen has been up for Pre-order since before that WD came out, and Angel's Blade wasn't previewed in WD and yet it came out today.

Yeah, but then Kharn and Traitors Hate were shown in White Dwarf and went up for preorder after it came out.

Quite a while, beans on toast is good eating especially if you add extras every now and then(grated cheddar, bits of bacon or sausages, omelette and of course a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce). Its the survival of every one down wind that would concern me
I was actually thinking that spare Stormcast heads might work for converting the Custodes with bare heads? Although the Sisters probably have uncovered heads going by the older artwork out there, so maybe I should get over my aversion to it.

I will probably be buying a couple of these boxes and another Calth box, I can't wait!!!!

It was only 1 day after though. (September's WD was officially released on the 2nd of September, Traitor's Hate and Kharn went up on the 3rd for Pre-order).

What I will say though is the space wolf guy looks to have a massive lightning claw, so my initial thoughts were it might be bjorn but if fluff memory serves me correctly, he didn't have the claw at that point?

HOLY just noticed the custodes with the roman eagle style banner, lord hab mercy.

I wonder if the spire guard make it in to this set?

It will be interesting to see the stat line on those Custodes and their wargear

Thankfully not all the pics got leaked as I did post those too to my friends.

All I will say is that it will be worth it. It is not Bjorn on the cover. The price is actually respectable and the mini's in full detail are great.

I don't blame anyone for seeing it. Yes I tried to contain it when it first got out but its fairly moot now. At least 2 sites ignored my request to take down the photo and are now being linked to by everyone else.

With it only being a cover shot it should be ok my end I hope but I certainly won't be taking pics of more for friends in the future when I see them early.

In a few weeks I may give out some more details but for now keep saving your pennies.

Just noticed the free exclusive lord for Total War, wonder if that will be a common thing. Might be the first WD mag I buy in a long time

Total speculation but I think either Prospero is going to cost more than Calth or its going to have less Marines. At least five Custodes and however many Sisters of silence are in the box is already more plastic than the Calth dread.

Still baffled at the Custodes inclusion, wonder why FW didn't want a stab at them. There's a power armour character that looks very similar to the Chaos Lord in the Warhammer Quest box.

If it isn't Bjorn officially it looks very similar but I'll take it if FW then make another version.

Presumably 5 custodes plus SW character plus 10 MK3 (looks like marines at the top of the image) v 5 tartaros, 20 MK3 and Ahriman who is probably hiding behind the free WD gift. Certainly looks likely from the way the SW guy is heading. Maybe only one sister of silence in the box then and she's hidden in the image too? All speculation though but that seems fairly balanced.

October looks pricey, presumably the Prospero FW book can't be far off, Leman Russ was nearly done, at least 2 boxes of this.

Them being some plastic Custodes in here doesn't mean Forge World won't do them, considering they're rumoured to have a full army list including vehicles (well part of a list with SoS but apparently the Custodes have enough variety in the list to do an army just of them). I don't think Forge World will leave it at 5 plastic Custodes to cover that. They're also meant to be doing Valedor.

Definitely gonna have to buy a bigger house now.

I quite agree. We like to be friendly around here so I didn't like to argue when you asked for our cooperation. But banning the image here of course has no effect. For that reason, I'm lifting said ban for now and reposting the image in the OP.

Well how can I not buy this, space wolves, custodies, sisters of silence and some more heresy era marines.

I know I've said it before, but given how little I play GW games at the moment GW have made a good job of getting me to give them money this year.

Curious as to what the games like, will it use the same mechanics as BaC or something new and unique?

Well, obviously there aren't any pictures yet since all we have is the WD cover, but Sad Panda (who's very reliable) said they'd be there and has been proven right about Custodes, so the chances are good.

That's as definitive as anyone can be about SoS until new pics emerge really.

There are two black clad models on smaller bases at the top of the image which look like female power armour. Hard to make out but they look like 25mm bases. Might just be a trick of perspective on the bases but the minis seem to be "normal" human size.

It looks as if it will replace Calth so the Prospero box will last 12 months or so until the plastics in this move into the ordinary range. I'd expect FW to use the plastics as a base for their Prospero range so the Custodes will be the basic troops with conversion packs for alternative troopers and characters.

The dlc is giving 30% on the Game.

Fairly certain the 'black' clad power armoured models at the top are VI Legion marines
