Great paint efforts- I love the prows on those frigates and the white scheme on the Arbites ship is awesome.

Cheers ragsta. In truth I was rather displeased with both the frigate prows and the white on the Arbites strike-cruiser while I was doing them.

Now Its had a bit of time to 'settle' looking at them again finished now:
The prows are; fine.
And the white is; ok.

Both nothing too exceptional, but nice nonetheless.

The strike cruiser especially, it being cobbled from leftovers!
Less-than-perfect paintjob on the white aside, it's a fun conversion and a nice reference to Blackstone 6 and that part of bfg's history. The 'batman' black* on the prow came out better than I felt it was going in the end...

*Blue-toned highlighted black.

The prows, btw are now available to all from battlefleet galaxy! Go git some;

Today I discovered that chatGPT AI bot can make some nice boxart/codex art style images of my models if prompted to do so correctly and with the right level of instruction and description.

'Sincair' Endeavour light cruiser, passing a small moon

'Nemesis III' on patrol in the Artemis sector

Now, I'll point out now that both of these needed correction after the fact. mostly colours so nothing you cant do in ps or gimp with the minimal of efforts...

putting people out of work? no not at all. fun and free exercise for me to create codex shots of my minis. absolutely.

and before anyone crows on about stollen assets and all that jazz. these are my minis its based on and its a free rescource. I can do with them as I please.

love it or hate it. its not going anywhere. might as well try to enjoy it...

Station Epsilon-Four "Todd's Reach" Artemis sector
With the expansion of the Artemis Sector it was inevitable that new trading routes and shipping runs be set up to better Imperialise the sector. After the initial creation of military outposts one of the first civillian trading posts to be set up as a permant structure was Epsilon-Four.
An armatige class station Five miles wide, "Todd's Reach" as it colloquially became known, was the perfect base of operations and general Imperial presence in the sector. A place of commerce and diplomacy for a quarter of a million workers, soldiers and civilians. A shining beacon of the Imperium, all alone in the night...

This is the Scourge Scenics space station model. A gift from my sister for my birthday this year. (along with some frigates, still awaiting paint).

It's quite a departure from the four prowed spacestation in the bfg rulebook, but its a fair representation of the metal mini that came later.
this one:

I went for the grey and green theme, shamelessly borrowed from Chad Mierza's chaos fleet (based on imperial ships with epic titan parts added WD283). My take on the paintjob is actually closer to my spaceshark theme, albeit with the jade green spires etc...

why not Artemis colours? well, one to give it a rest for a bit, and two because its a civilian outpost. not specifically military in nature.

That Space Station reminds me of Deep Space 9.
