Bit off a bit much for paint night, so ended up mostly prep and prime, but did get the demon done:

Ishtar tanks from battletech (as interpreted by a third party stl artist trying to put their own spin on), or possibly particularly militant office chairs. A lot of the initial set of clan tanks were kinda goofy looking guys.

I do love your Battletech stuff, Vejut. My first exposure was the book Way of the Clans and I loved all the schematics at the back of that book. Those Ishtar do indeed look like irate office furniture but all these vehicles are coming out lovely.

Nice save on your disintegrated fox, and those Typhon Spears have come out great!

Slow week, mostly, real life in the way.

Based up the bat-gnome but forgot to take pictures. Did paint through a novelty mech though:





Somebody on tumblr did a dire wolf version, somebody else commented a stalker version would be cool, and so... That said, happier with the base than the mech itself-the mech is kinda rough on zoom in, but pretty happy with the Porble style water base, glazing fought me a but I think.came out.

Otherwise, started a test mech to remind myself how I did the ostsol scheme, in prep for the illician lancers egg brigade:

Missing a spider for what I want, will probably pick up tonight. Also started some more tanks as you can see to have some Iota galaxy for clan hell's horses, because why stop when I've already got 4 projects.

And some progress on the steiners, getting them over the long part.


Just needs tracks, cockpits/barrels and other details, plus an edge highlight. Hopefully tonight.

Thanks blockade, actually kinda easy. Did the base color, then rough marked out the flames with a pull stroke on a #1 brush and dark red:


Then used bold pyrole red with that as a guide to be pointyer:


And finally yellow inside that, more or less:


Kinda three tries to get it right.
