II mix of all
TBH - I have a bunch of oldhammer pewter stuff, older 'first born' as well as new Primaris so it will be a unique mix. I am not terribly tied to the space marine/primaris lore so mixing them up - as units - is what will happen. UltraMarines successor, probably the tome keepers because i like the scheme, and if they don't play out ill just adapt to a different successor.
Anyway - Just looking to get them close so it looks OK and i don't have to deal with any 'modeling for advantage' issues. I will be mounting on a modern size base.

Old guy is a bit shorter than the new dreads, and that’s just the old box dreads. Contemptors or the primaris one are even taller. Depending on how you base the rest of your army a few layers of cork, or even 3/4 to an inch of insulation board to make a hero rock for him to stand on.
Yeah - This is exactly the problem - its like a baby dread....
I was thinking about cork but wondered about stability long term.
