Those "units" weren't designed for AoS though, they were designed for Underworlds where they function as intended. It's a bonus that those models can be bought and used as a unit for AoS. When each on is brought out its suggested that players can use them as with their unique rules or just use the models as variants on existing units.

If it wasn't insanely priced (It will be), I'd think about getting one for my skirmish force of Orcs. Be a great leader. Half the time my games are themed in the Old World, so he'd make a great Warboss. Especially as one of my other warbands is Skaven.

Funnily enough, GW already did an extra unit of brutes with unique armor and weapons (which I bet will be cheaper than this dude, too) making the above dude even more pointless:

If the above model was two Ironjawz, not brute and useless grot, you could at least combine them with Krushas to make alternative, differently looking unit of brutes. Alas, that would be actually useful addition to the range so we can't have that

Yeah. You just end up with unit that you can't use then as it's set of fixed models so if you take one to brute leader you end up rest with useless.

Great solution.

I have to get him just to use as megaboss when I play against local skaven player His slaanesh models feature familiar looking stormcast bits. Time for payback.
