I'll be participating in a 2k tournament next month.
Silly me decided to play Imperial Guard. I know....

Figured that the most competetive list that I can form is a spearhead I came up with the list below.
I'm not much of a competetive player so I'm open to suggestions on how to improve the list.

I have plenty of infantry of all sorts and sizes, lost of chimeras, hellhounds, basilisks, sentinels, valks and a thunderbolt to use, so I can swap out some units.
There's also four or five more Russes I could use.

Edit: If the 10pts cost reduction of Russes drops in time I'll remove one scout sentinel and a random HK missile to add a basilisk.

Looks like fun, at least! If you end up against an infantry army and you can keep them away from your tanks for a couple of rounds you should be able to do lots of damage at least!

Please let us know how it goes - I've been considering making an Imperial Guard army list based on the new US Army HBCT company design - a platoon of tanks (4 LRBT), a platoon of fighting vehicles (chimera or Tauroxes), and a platoon of light infantry (4 infantry squads, with some support elements scattered in. I'm interested to see how your army fares.
