It toom me ~30 years to get around to painting it. I was so enthusiastic, cutting up an old Easter egg box according to templates in White Dwarf (the one where you had to stick pins through the pages, and then literally join the dots to make the pattern). I undercoated it, and then just left it in a box for decades.
