2 more sci fi figures, rereleases, or releases in a new casting medium or something.

Space Troll trying his best Pulp Fiction Pose, dude, if you hold your gun like that you can't use the sight and you risk getting hit in the head by the ejecting shell!

I do like the biker, I just wish she was more generic, l could see buying 3 or 4 people riding their bikes like sane people but no more than one who's trying shoot behind her while speeding down the mean streets of Mega Neo Tokyo Zone 23. You know what I mean?

re: Space Troll trying his best Pulp Fiction Pose, dude, if you hold your gun like that you can't use the sight and you risk getting hit in the head by the ejecting shell! Rule of Cool is more important than combat effectiveness.

{Though don't try it in any RPG I GM. The historical simulationist comes to the fore and Rule of Cool is slapped down hard.}

I hope this means they're going to revisit this theme in the nearish future.

I've had way too many gun nut/firearms enthusiast friends explain how dumb the sideways grip is, I can't even grant it rule of cool.

Someone should get a bunch of those well-dressed Vampire models and use them for a Romantasy-style game.

Replace traditional combat with a social combat system and tie in L5Rs "Mask" mechanics where too much bad stuff causes you to break a social contract.

Damn. Someone call my agent.

Good Society: the Jane Austen roleplaying game
You'll need homebrew rules for the vampire part, but the caste system and social interaction rules already exist.

"Mr. Darcy's manner awakens bemusement, rather than affection, in the object of his attention."

EDIT: Bundle of Holding Offer on Good Society. https://bundleofholding.com/presents/2026GoodSociety

With March here mosquitos are coming out and that seems to be this month's Reaper theme!

This month's freeby is called "The Long Rest", hopefully she has some citronella in that camp fire or they're going to eat her alive!

But I hope she didn't try and swipe any branches from this guy.

But the skeeters aren't the scariest thing out there, not when the Bee Folk are on the warpath! Remember when you meet them you must always Bee Friendly, Bee Positive and Bee Ready to Run for your Life.

(note all the wings are transparent plastic, which is neat)

And if they don't get you, the Fearsome Murder Hornet will.

Was I the only one who thought Murder Hornets were going to be a bigger thing than they were? It's like quicksand all over again.

On the lighter side they have some Flower Fairies too.

And for Under the Sea action, some Kelpies, the deadliest but sexiest seaweed there is.

While in the air we have some smexy sylphs.

And fairy dragons, every 12 year old girl's favorite familiar.

And finally a mighty Alicorn just like Twilight Sparkle.

Hmm.

Is there any reason NOT to paint it like Twilight Sparkle? Has the 2010s MLP rolled around again yet or do we need to wait a few more years?

And finally 5 "Bloodclub Bugbears" for $30. Remember the first rule of Blood Club is we don't talk about Blood Club.

I didn't even notice the bee bases as an old time 90s mech player as my mind just flagged it as normal.

I really like that long rest mini. I wonder what size base that is.

It’s a good way to tell witches apart from sorceresses. The witches are on hex-bases.

Those are butterfly wings, so more like Rarity from that episode when they were visiting Rainbow Dash attending the sports competition in Cloudsdale

Same here, Reaper has just what you need for just about anything.

I don't recognize the name of the sculptor for Long Rest. Free lancer or new Reaper sculptor?

Knock off the Bee puns or you'll accidentally summon Mister B Natural. We do not want that. Oh no, no.

The Long Rest was sculpted by... (deep breath)... Guzel Baiguskarova.

Still no word on her DEET situation.

Also unveiled the Adepticon mini (not sure it will be available online)

And with Easter just a few weeks away we have this bit of cuteness of a new hatched Parakeet-Shark. Or whatever. Also comes with paints and Easter candy.

Stalking Wyvern, Flying Wyvern, collect them all.

(Wish they had a scale shot)

Gargoyles were always fun low to mid-level monsters. Immune to normal weapons they either require creativity or a lot of reliance on that guy with the Dagger +1.

A monstrous spider (large), do you actually need to specify that it is 'large' when you've already said it's monstrous?

Maybe you do to differentiate it from the "monstrous slug (huge)". It looks to me like it might be translucent plastic which would make for some fun slime possibilities.

Just curious, Kid: do you use Reaper minis in role-playing campaigns?

I've been overseas for ages and found no gaming community here so no. Maybe if/when I move back home. But that last time I did an RPG I just didn't enjoy it as much as a wargame.

Very understandable - I was just wondering how you'd become our resident MC of all things Reaper, and Reaper seems to cater more to RPGs than wargaming. I can certainly relate: I think a lot of us here (like me) do more collecting, kitbashing, and painting than playing. Anyhow, thank you: I enjoy your sense of humor and always get a kick out of your contributions.

Rumor has it there were several rounds of mortal combat each wielding minis of different casting materials Reaper uses and Kyoto was the last mod standing... along with a classic cheesecake female vampire pewter mini.

Edit: Allegedly. Or so I've heard.

Reaper has just launched their kickstarter for their updated paints:

No video of the paints in action, yet.

"Through the darkness of future past, the magician longs to see.
One chants out between two worlds: Fire, walk with me."
- Twin Peaks
"You listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - Twin Peaks

I got into them in the 2000s the last time I really played RPGs and I just like them for the combination of covering the basics and every so often throwing in some madness.

April showers bring Fancy Hat Familiars as I'm sure no one says!

Among the normal releases we've got...

A crystal golem, another clear model for some creative effects.

A squire who's just one head swap away from my Dunk and Egg game

Some fun goblins

A 75mm collector model, which could also serve as a giant in a 28mm game. or a Titan in a 6mm game!

Something really cool a $17 pirate airship. Just one man but neat.

Some sort of cow-man lumberjack.

I had to look this one up, a Hyaenodon, an extinct carnivore. Nice I guess. Waiting for the Dire Hyaenodon and Were Hyaenodon.

And finally some orcs. Which you can always use.

I just love the "Just cast fireball" note.

Never, ever cast fireball indoors.
