Are you sure you'll have enough synapse to give good coverage? Seems like a determined opponent could try to take out one or both of your Tyrants and then force the rest of the army into bad situations with IB.

I know the 'fexes are less likely to be affected, and the 'stealers should be fine, but it could still happen.

I'm also not sure I like Acid Maw on the flyrant - what's it really doing for you, there, especially with Implant Attack?

Acid maw: I had an extra 10 points and it was handy

Synapse: Meh. The only other way to get synapse with zilla is to take Zoanthropes instead of a Gunfex, and even then you have to either give up Warp Blast or part of your Choir to give one of'em synapse... And then you're opponent is just gonna shoot it first. /shrug

I don't really think the 3 shootie fex list is nearly as good as the choir list. Just my opinion. The gunfexes are just not that good at killing things other than skimmers, due to crappy bs. Two is all I find I ever need.

I also think I would arrange your raveners in 3/2/1 or 4/1/1 but that's just my preference. 4/1/1 is what I plan to run here as soon as I finish building them. My plot is to use two for either carni protection or objective grabs/pushback units, and the big squad with 24 gaunts and the flying Tyrant as an assault contingent that rushes certain armies.

The one man squads are just so flexible I hate to give them up.

also just a tidbit on acid maw, it seems to always add a wound for me. My tyrant charges, inevitably hits with 4 attacks, wounds with 3, rerolls a one and gets 4 wounds.

The main attraction though is that it makes you much less likely to totally flub a round of combat when it's important.

Seems that the flyrant is the perfect unit for setting up a charge right onto the pfist model and then killing everything in the kill zone. Acid maw just makes sure that on the charge he gets'em

Yep. and if they cluster enough so you can't assassinate the fist, they are just primed for being warp blasted/barbed stranglered.
