I wa sjust wondering if anyone could give me an approximation of the sizes of Dark Age minis v. 40k. Are they roughly the same size? ARe Dark age minis bigger or smaller than 40k minis.

Thanks

Dark Age is a little bit bigger than 40K. I don't know by how many mm's. If you want to use Dark Age minis in a 40k army, it might be okay for heroes because they're usually bigger anyway, but for rank and file guys it might look out of place next to a regular 40K guy. The difference isn't that huge though.

Dark Ages tend to be taller but leaner than GW figs, a little closer to Confrontation figures. Depending on what you're doing, it should work pretty well, but I wouldn't necessarily mix figs in a unit.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

Dude -

You just cost me sooooo much money. I have a fun little conversion idea planned. Those Forsaken guys with cloaks are a great basis for Warlock and farseer conversions. Replace some heads, add some wraithbone armor, make the weapons a bit more mystical looking and ...voila! Instant psychic eldar dude!

Thanks.

lol... at that point wouldn't it just be easier to green stuff cloaks on a farseer model?

It's all about the action body poses. Heads and such are easy to do but the body is not... at least not for me. Take a look at the models.
