I finally bought a digital camera and I want to take some pics of my army now that it is finished, but i have not been able to get any decent close up shots. They all come out blurred and i fiddled with my camera but i cant seem to get very close up image sinto focus. I have a decent digital camera and i assume their must be a away to get better close up shots. I am no photography expert, and any adivce would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You need to use the camera's Macro function, it's the setting for taking extreme close up shots. On my camera it's a little icon shaped like a flower.

Cameras are pretty particular beasts, so try looking at reviews and message boards about that particular model of camera. Photo nerds are pretty good about sharing tips for getting the best picture out of a particular camera, and unless you have some really obscure camera, you should be able to get information on what settings to use from someone whose already dealt with the issue.
One other piece of advice to go with Arstahd's point - use a tripod with digital cameras. Unless you have a really high-end DSLR, the shutters usually aren't fast enough to get good photos without one.

they make small tripods (like 4" tall) for taking close up pics of small items, and these retail for about $15 that, combined with the macro photo, and some decent lighting (don't use your flash!) should help out a bunch

I hate to point out the obvious... but nobody else did, and it is often a bigger help than people realize. Read the manual.
When you're done, read it again...
Then go back & read the section on Macro.
It'll help... Guaranteed!
