Hey Drop zone. Now that you are actually selling stuff on Dakka in adition to your continued advertizing, how about ponying up $25 and becoming a DCM? Seriously, you are getting great advertizing and tons of publicity, how about helping THIS website out? You know it is helping you out.

If spending $25 a year to support a website where you promote your business ruins your business, then maybe you should reexamine your business model.

Just for the record, Drop Zone has indeed approached Dakka about becoming and advertiser and supporting our site, and it did happen prior to this discussion.

Dakka Dakka is proud to be associated with ethical business such as the Drop Zone, who try to support the sites they post on.

I do appreciate Dakka Fans attempting to make sure we're not being taken advantage of, however in the future perhaps the best course of action is to contact me or notifiy a moderator privatly before publicly scolding someone.   You never know what kind of negotiations are going on. 

That said, I certainly appreicate ALL of our support, be it advertiser, DCM, or Dakka Zone.  You ALL help keep this site running.  Thank you.
