For anyone in the LA / OC area, there is a new forum up dedicated to GW games. It has a lot of pictures of gamers and their armies who are locals at the area GW stores.

It is a nice place to find a game with local players and to see what is going on in your area (assuming that you live there, of course)

Its fairly light compared to these boards but deffinately worth checking out if you are local.

Just joking. It took me a couple of tries to get registered also. I am not sure that this will be such a great website if it is GW store centric. We already have gw_socal@yahoogroups.com and that has 187 local so cal players and has been around since 1993 (?).

oh really, i wasnt aware of that site. and i agree, Darrian, it is pretty GW slanted since ALL of the mods are employees, but at the very least you can use it to see what is going on at the GW stores.

That's the problem i have with the forum. I'm not overly fond with GW stores to begin with so the forums are not as useful to me. Plus the yahoo group play other games besides GW, but then I am a bit biased :p
