First of all your list is illegal, you need 1 Traitor unit for each Traitor tank you take (basically vehicles from Codex Imperial Guard).
I would also try to squeeze some Lascannons or autocannons, you don't have enough antitank in your list.
And sorcerors with berserkers in the same army isn't fluffy at all.

Maddening Mutant Boss of Chaos
|
The stength of LatD is the mutants. Best pound for pund model in the game, and ridicously cheap too. With Khorne as your flavor, I suggest taking mutants decked out for assult.25 man squads or so, paking a boss with a fist and an aspiring champ undivided with a fist. In assult there is virtually no unit that can beat that.

If you go for Khorne flavor, remember 8 for fluff. I guess since it would be technically an undivided army a BT and Tzeentch guys COULD roll together but I would presume fluff wise the BT would be eating them first. Ancient enemies and all that stuff. Also Chaos psychers arent anything special. As Angron has taught me, the aspiring champion route is not very effective. 5 man traitor squads to open up to basilisks are the way to go. A DP and Bloodthirster would romp most all. Also look at Chaos spawn as they soak much fire and are fearless. T5 S5 D6 attacks and fearless to boot for 20pts. In Cities of Death Zombies of Nurgle cant be beat. In open area "normal" 40k regular mutants with bosses and pfists are the way to go. As they stated above me the list is illegal. Also that is one expensive daemonvessel. Im a fan of the berserkers but stick to 8 and a champion but let one of the normal marines be the vessel. You dont want to be a man short when they are assaulting. My current list is (which has has 3 loyalist SM lists, 1 ork list so far): HQ1 Daemon Prince 1 Bloodthirster Troops 15 Zombies x 2 5 man traitor squad heavy bolter, flamer, chaos icon x 1 6 marines plas / heavy bolter chaos icons 6 marines plas / heavy bolter chaos icons aspiring daemon vessel Elite Oblits x3 8 Bloodletters Heavy Support 3 Chaos spawn 1 basilisk This is around 1500. My 1850 contains more spawn, more traitor and another basilisk. Im hoping to face the local deathwing player this thursday. I hope this was informative... I think I just blurted out crap as it came to mind.

Actually... funny thing about Khorne... he hates everyone.... but if you wanna go for his most hated enemy... that would be Slaanesh, not Tzceentch

First of all your list is illegal, you need 1 Traitor unit for each Traitor tank you take (basically vehicles from Codex Imperial Guard). Hmmm, so it is. Thanks for the spot. 5 man traitor squads to open up to basilisks are the way to go. A DP and Bloodthirster would romp most all. Also look at Chaos spawn as they soak much fire and are fearless. T5 S5 D6 attacks and fearless to boot for 20pts. Unfortunately, since I took traitors as the compulsory choices, they have to be full sized. And as far as the Spawn go, they seem to be a huge waste of points to me. I have played against a local LatD player a couple of times that runs spawn for HS and they have ALWAYS died before being effective. Im a fan of the berserkers but stick to 8 and a champion but let one of the normal marines be the vessel. You dont want to be a man short when they are assaulting. Doesn't the champ have to be the vessel...? One of the things that does limit my choices in this list is the fact that I am using models that I already have (seeing as I can't afford more at the moment ), so that factored heavily into the composition of the list. I also wanted to go with a mixed Guard/Marines flavour, which this list has done I think, instead of the hordes of mutants since again, that is what I currently have. Going to have to replace the Hellhound though which sucks because the thing absolutely rocks! Hmmm, now that I think of it, I may be able to do a 3rd Traitor squad at under half strength with the models I have... I am curious as to why champs are considered no good?

1 Aspiring Champion of Khorne Bolt Pistol (x1); Power Weapon (x1); Frag Grenades (Squad) 1 Mark of Khorne Blood Frenzy 1 Furious Charge 1 Champion is the Daemonvessel Its not that they are no good. Its just that they can be too expensive. Too expensive to make up for their points. What I would recommend is have the berserkers go in with no champ. They will do enough damage on their own instead of wasting all those points. Thats 55 points just to summon the bloodthirster. So thats a 5 man squad of traitors complete with special weapon and heavy weapon. I would upgrade one of the normal CSM as the host that way you dont waste the points. I hear you on the not wanting to buy new models kick but it is 40k after all .

I would upgrade one of the normal CSM as the host that way you dont waste the points. Just checked my Chaos codex and from what I can tell the Daemonvessel HAS to be an Aspiring Champ. I wish I could use a regular Berzerker for the job but I can't. Do you think that the champs in the Traitor squads are not worth the points as well? Mainly took the Tzeentch champs for the BoC for more high strength shooting really but I am really iffy on the LD 6 of the Traitors on their own. The champs having LD 10 makes it a better bet that the unit will stick around for a bit longer I would think. However, this is definitely a starter list that I have no experience with so tips are definitely appreciated.

What I meant was to not tool up an asp champ just to have him be a daemon vessel.

As for the spawn being a waste of points well... it depends. If you are not used to a disposable unit I can see your point. As sacrificial bullet catchers they can be awesome. A whole round of shooting went into them last I played. They are only auto killed by strength 10 weapons and have a 3 up save so the only reliable way to kill them is missle launchers, plasma and lascannons. Esentially its a MEq thats really stupid but has 2 wounds. Also imagine someone try and take an objective from them...
What would be funny and clever about the asp champ in the normal csm squad is that no one would see it coming. They expect the berserkers to have the vessel if they expect it at all. He essentially has an 18 move / assault. By the time someone comes to assault your shooting marines- pop out the BT. When making squads and not min maxing with 5 marines, always have an even number unless you are apeasing a god. Its easier for calculation and it works in your favor when calculating morale saves and the like.
