So I just tried out this army in a 1500 point RTT and it won but I think it is very flawed and I would like to bring it up to 2000 points for an upcoming RTT. HQ: Statured lord, dreadaxe, ccw, frags, d aura, d mutation, d speed, d resilience, furious charge, combat drugs. Lieutenant, b pistol, power weapon, frags, d strength, furious charge Troops: 6 man squad: Asp champ (p weapon, b pistol, d strength), 4 ccw + b pistol, 1 blastmaster (all have furious charge) (icon) 3 x 6 man squad: asp champ (p weapon, b pistol, d strength), 4 sonic blaster, 1 blastmaster. (icon) 2 x 6 demonettes Fast Attack: 6 demonettes on steeds Heavy support: Havocs: 4 autocannons, 2 bolters (squad has tank hunter).(icon) So there it is. I have faced MEQ's with it and done fine, how would this list do against Tau/Eldar mechanized? What should I add to make it 2000 points? Thanks in advance.

How are the icons distributed? I take it your Lord had a personal Icon yes?

I have only glanced through the slaanesh pages of the chaos codex. Have you thought about a siren prince?

Well, first of all, that DP is illegal- too many gifts @ 120 pts (remember that gifts of the gods count towards your daemonic gifts). I would recommend dropping stature as this makes him a huge fire magnet. I like dark blade, speed, strength, drugs, mutation, and bits. Furious charge can bump that up to S8 and effective I7 if you want. Choppy, choppy! Personal icon is also recommended. Drop the frags and get a Doom Siren for your characters and champs. It gets you the same effect as frags and effectively adds a flamer to the squad. The squads look good, but I am not sold on Autos+ TH. I prefer 3-4 BMs w/ TH so I can get 3-4 S9 shots or tag infantry with blasts or pin on the move, but YMMV. As to increasing points, there is no problem that cannot be solved with more daemonettes Actually, Daemonettes, more NMs, or some vehicles can all be useful. As to vehicles, I prefer Havocs to preds but like rhinos as movable terrain or decent support for shooty squads (start in rhino, drive up, drop off, open fire. Usually need 3+ vehicles to work!).

Combat drugs are considered a gift or something from the armory? Slaanesh ICs can use a special psychic power that disallows people from shooting at them.

Give everyone a sonic blaster, maybe? Blastmasters on the havocs, and maybe a CC champ? Havocs are tha assualt troops for an EC army.

Any of the equipment from the cult armoury is considered a Gift and counts towards daemonic limits (see the FAQ regarding Doom Sirens, IIRC). Also recall that Siren is a minor psychic power and must be rolled, so unless you buy 6+ rolls it is not guaranteed.

Also remember that everyone hates it, and it's never worth taking in a Comp/Sportsmanship scored event. I like the list, though I think the previous observation about the DP being over his gift allowance is correct. TH ACs are great. I would actually consider upgrading a couple of the squad BMs to Lascannons. They can't be fired on the move, but are incredibly helpful against AV14 stuff. As far as going to 2000, another squad of Havocs and maybe a Pred would be helpful. Those TH ACs are the best unit in the game for taking out Eldar and Tau skimmers, but they are static. My old 3rd ed 2k build has Rhinos, of course. I haven't been playing my Slaaneshi/mixed CSM in a while, but I think the Rhinos are still worth considering. They give you more control over where and how soon your summoning happens. Which is really nice against mechanized armies, so your deamons don't pop out too soon and turn into free points for your opponent.
