Anyone get these yet?

http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/chaosmilup.htm

Im considering them although 35 bucks for 10 troopers is a stretch even for me.

They are beautiful though.

$35 for 10 from FW seems like a steal. and these figs are HOTT

Do not use the CLEAR dice!

Dear Whiny Space Marine Players,
you get 3+ armor saves on all your troops (save scouts), Assault cannons, a huge assortment of vehicles and weapons, arguably one of the best if not THE best tank in the game, funny helmets, and a partrige in a pear tree.

suck it up, space marines. You're the emperor's chosen superhuman warriors. stop whining like a guardsmen and take it like a superman!

Is that $35/10 figs or $35/bits for 10 figs (couldn't tell from the blurb)?

Its $35 (roughly) for 10 torsos with heads and 10 arms.
9 pounds for the 10 torsos with heads.
9 pounds for the 10 arm pairs.

That's $35 for 20 arms that fit on GW guardsmen.

Le sigh.

No.  It is :

http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalog/CHAOS_VEHICLE_ACCESSORIES.html

So its 18 pounds.  http://www.x-rates.com/calculator.html or  $34.25

Unless suddenly the exchange rate between the US and the UK went nuts its 35 US dollars for arms and torsos.  These then attach to GW imp guard legs.

I just got some of the traitor torsos, and they are really really cool. I haven't tried building the guys yet because I'm not sure if I want to use catachan or cadian bits or some mix. I don't know about the FW arms though, so I can't really comment on that. I think the $17 or so that I spent on them is worth it. They're defiantely good enough sculpts to justify that price.

So you still need to buy a box of Cadians or legs from a place like BWbits?

Not trying to raise ire, I'm just makin' sure...

You'll need, at the very least, 10 legs and bases. Though, for $35 you can simply get two packs of torsos (20 torsos) and get a box of cadians/catachans (also $35) which will give you 20 traitor guard. Admittedly, you'll probably want to convert the arms & guns a bit to make 'em more chaosy. If GW had their way, you'll be buying two packs of arms, two packs of torsos and one box of box of cadians for the low low price of $105 for twenty traitor guard.

This doesn't even take into consideration the issues that FW's crappy resin and even crappier casting process has on the finished product.

Sure, but that's definetly not the impression I get from the FW guys- they seem to make what they're inspired by and let the marketing people sort out the rest.

And let's be honest- who doesn't have some crapachan legs laying around?

Yeah I still got a bunch of em laying around.

Also to consider. I dont field full squads of trators since they kinda suck. Ok, they REALLY suck. I field em to open up armor from the IG codex. 5 man squads . 20 traitors would fill my troop slots right up.
