Greetings, all!

I've put together a tentative list for my long-awaited Army of the Dead.  I would appreciate some feedback and some suggestions for what to do with my remaining 234 points... and any other advice or thoughts you would care to share.

As you will see from the list, every unit is either dead or has a death theme, the Falcon being a slight variation, but the Falcon is all about deliverance from death or bringing it to the enemy, so it works in a way.

Anyway, here is the list:

HQ -
Phoenix Lord Maugan Ra

Troops -
10 Wraithguard with Spiritseer, Singing Spear, Conceal
10 Wraithguard with Spiritseer, Singing Spear, Conceal

Elites -
6 Howling Banshees with Exarch, Executioner, War Shout and Acrobatic

Heavy -
Wraithlord with Eldar Missile Launcher, 2 Flamers, Wraithsword
5 Dark Reapers
Falcon with Scatterlaser, Vectored Engines, Spirit Stones, Holo-field

Total so far - 1616 pts.

I still have 234 points left over to reach 1850.

I could add a Farseer for some benefits like Guide and Doom, or a small Wraithguard squad.  OR I could bulk up the Banshees a bit and give them a Wave Serpent, dropping the Falcon for something else...  A Death-themed Autarch is not out of the question, either.  Jain Zar would be interesting...  Also, a Harelquin Troupe with a Death Jester would work in a pinch, and may be a fun route to take.

This list is really form over function, but I would like to hear thoughts about using it and making it competitive if you care to share.

Any advice you veteran Eldar commanders can give is appreciated.

I'd do the Harlies...fluff wise they make sense to me, and tactically they're pretty sound (you could use a little more counter-assault).

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

Hopefully the Harlies can provide what I need. It would be odd for me to not use a Farseer though... those guys seem indispensable in an Eldar plan, but I need to try different things sometimes.

No other takers? Or perhaps my desire to actually use large volumes of Wraithguard has caused me to be shunned by the Dakka elite as a lost cause and a nonbeliever?

I think it is more due to the fact that most players don't have the codex yet.

Here are my comments:

I would drop the Banshees and take Harlies instead, Banshee are really only good if you give them a Wave Serpent. You list looks like a "come to me list" and should be played accordingly. You don't need a falcon, I would double up on your Wraithlords. Use Harlies (you can even add a Death Jester for Theme) and Scorpion as counter charge. And I would soooooo take an avatar in this list as a support/ killy death unit.

Current Armies: Blood Angels, Imperial Guard (40k), Skorne, Retribution (Warmachine), Vampire Counts (Fantasy)

I would add three wraithlords also with birght lances/Shuriken cannons for your anti armor. Drop the WG and go with bikes for troops to sieze those objectives late in games.
