Paris Open (December 2nd and 3rd)

Where:
Espace « Paris-Est Montreuil », 128 rue de Paris, 93100 Montreuil.
To get there, we would advise you to take the line 9 of the metro, in the direction of Mairie de Montreuil, and to get off at Robespierre station.

Opening times:
• Saturday: The participants to the various tournaments (Confrontation, Rag´Narok, International Final, Anakadir) will be allowed in at 9:00 am, the visitors at 10:30 am. Closing time: 7:00 pm.
• Sunday: The participants to the various tournaments (Confrontation, Rag´Narok, International Final, Anakadir) will be allowed in at 9:30 am, the visitors at 10:30 am. Closing time: 7:00 pm.

Fees:
• Visitors: 15 euros for one day, 18 euros for both days.
• Tournament: 20 euros for both days.

This year again, RACKHAM will reward the best players with exceptional prizes: the winners of the Rag´Narok® and Confrontation® tournament will receive all the RACKHAM releases* for the six months following their victory (meaning January till June)!
Seconds and thirds will respectively get the RACKHAM releases* for the following three months and the month following their victory (meaning January till March and the month of January).

All other participants will get a blister worth 10 euros maximum, to be chosen directly from the sales point at the Open, till stocks last (non cumulative with the special offer available at the Open)

The Wraith golgoth.

Commanding and communication unit among the Therian army, the Wraith golgoth is a devastating and versatile weapon, capable of annihilating anything from a platoon of steel troopers to a unit of Fire Toads. Thanks to its fine armor plating, it is used by the Therian overseers as a mobile command unit.
Its medium nucleus cannon is a smart weapon, shooting ammunition capable of piercing the most effective protection, recombining itself at the heart of its target and ripping it open from the inside. The medium sonic cannon is capable of turning a White Stars unit into a puddle of blood in one burst.
This machine is the cornerstone of Therian forces. They used it extensively during the Antarctica onslaught, and it served as a model for U.N. engineer in the design the first Avan combat striders.

H. Newtown: Pilot, woman and hero.

Captain Helena Newtown is an outstanding pilot, an unequalled mechanic and an unquestionable war hero.
She is one of the greatest White Stars figures. Admired by all, her courage is only equaled by her combat and mechanic skills.
Helena Newtown is also the daughter of President Archer, but she chose to go by her mother´s maiden name to avoid any favoritism.

The Aching webs

Out of breath, the young free leaguer turned around with fear in his eyes. He had already been trying to lose his pursuer for several minutes in the winding streets of the Kraken.
The hope that shot in him suddenly died away when he spotted a discreet movement on the roofs lining the backstreet. The sheer terror had him running again.
When he realized he didn´t recognize the streets anymore, it was already too late: he had just engaged in a cul-de-sac. Determined not to die without putting up a good fight, he swung around to face the mysterious woman who had been stalking him since he had left the inn.
The stranger stepped into the open and dropped the cloak covering her shoulders, unveiling the particular physique of the Akkyshan.
As she unsheathed a long jagged dagger, she spoke to him for the first time:
“Caught in my web and exhausted. Now how about letting me toy with you; come on and give in to the aching web.”

The emerald guardians

Last evening an emissary of Quithayran was mugged by a large group of rogues as he was heading to the Arcade to purchase the statue of a sylph (see. Cry Havoc® vol. 11).
But his bodyguards stood up to the thugs, resorting to their millenary combat techniques and easily dispersing the bandits.

This, folks, is how you run a PROMOTION, and that is with Prizes that don't suck. Every new metal figure release for six months? Yes please! That's how you reward your most loyal customers. After all, if you have the skill and dedication to Rackham's core games to win their tournament, that is an incredible "thank you" for winning. It seems more and more that Rackham does everything that GW doesn't, can't or won't do.
