Does anyone know what is happening with the Dogs of War/Regiments of Renown?  For the past few days, going to the GW online store and browsing, if you look at a particular army, the Regiment of Renown associated with that army has had "Do Not Use" next to it.  For example, in the Dark Elf store, Mengil Manhide's Manflayers had "Do Not Use" beside them.  In the O & G store, Ruglud's Armored Orcs had "Do Not Use" beside them.

Any idea what this means?  One of my friends claims that it means the RoR will only be available in the Dogs of War army list.  I know the new O&G army book does not allow DoW as a rare choice anymore.

Update: went to the store again just know.  Mengil is in the Dark Elf store, and no longer has "Do Not Use" beside the listing, but he's not in the Dogs of War store.  Ruglud's Armored Orcs Regiment is still in O&G list, no longer with "Do Not Use" beside the regiment, but still beside the blister pack.  Ruglud's is still in the DoW store as well.

Could this just be some web page code that is showing up by accident (Do Not Use this photo?) or what?

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

The Dark Elf store? What do you buy there? Black pants and sharp knives?

I have nothing useful to add.

From what I had heard, the DOW will still be around. Future army books won't mention them as rare choices, but the description for each unit will list who they can fight for, along with the units in the ogre kingdoms books.

Not sure on the reason, but as a store owner, if I never have to explain DoW to a new player again, it will be wonderful. Trying to explain the concept, list all the units that the kid could use for his army, explain that the rules are in a WD, online, or in an out of print book, find the unit in the catalog, etc etc etc... gets real tiring.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.
