hi guys, a few weeks ago I posted some pics of my Ogre Pirates, which were, I admit, not that thrilling.
but I just finished my captain who will lead my Pirates in a little fantasy campaign at our store.

I had this idea buzzing in my head for some time now, I thought how could I build a really cool Ogre Pirate. Well, the problem is, the man-eater pirate is pretty much everything one could want from an ogre pirate but since he's my main HQ I just had to convert him somehow. until I had this idea. a little greenstuff here and a special tyranid part there and I got myself a Davy Jones Ogre. now, how to explain that he's mutated and the rest of the crew isn't (I just don't have the time to build a whole army like this). easy answer: Wyrdstone around his neck. and now I already know which magic items he can get. skullplucker
but since he still wasn't converted enough for my taste I switched his bellyarmor (never been a big fan of the whole concept) with, well, bigger guns. not he would be able to fire both of them at the same time, but I think the conversion works quite well.

all I have to do now is finish the base, he'll get the same coast base design like my other ogres,

please coment

The claw is great, but it does negate the whole two guns thing.
