Ok folks Im looking to build a new army soon Ive been reading allot of info on India's Sikh Soldiers in WW2 that fought along side the British.

Any Idea on what I could use for heads? I checked out GW and saw the only figure that really has a Turban is the Desert Dogs from Warhammer, and the Tallarns from 40K. I dont want to drop a billion bucks just to snip the heads of minis for another group of mini's any guides for Turbans? Or any head bitz that are covered just almost the same? I couldnt find any....

Or a guide to modeling turbans? with Green stuff??

Thanks once again....

Check out Artizan; they just came out with Sikh infantry with separate heads. Also Mark Copplestone has a line of Sikh, Indian Muslim and Ghurka infantry in his Back of Beyond range.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

If I were to create turbans I would use green stuff. roll it flat onto wax paper cut into tiny strips and then wrap around the head. I did something like that before creating a mummy/zombie. very simple.
