Fire prism w/ Holofield, Vectored engines, Spirit stones, Shuriken cannon, Vectored engines    205 pts

I honestly don't know if it has enough shooting, but the basic strategy would be for everything to sit back at about 30-36 inches with the farseer dooming and guiding the pathfinders, the autrarch and spears provide counter assault and can take out light tanks.  The prisms just sit back and shoot whatever they can while providing points denial. There arent many models but everything is fairly tough as long as I can get cover for the pathfinders.  Im just wondering if it will be competitive or will it just get shot to hell  by the shooty armies and assualted to hell by the assaulty armies

Playing a mech SoB army i'd say your main fault would be AT capability. The fire prism's, Auturach, and shinning spears just aren't enough to ensure my forces are stopped. Never mind things like drop pod marines, or even worse basic guard, who will have the bodies to ignore the pathfinders and just grind through the rest.
As far as being constructive, why not drop some pathfinders for some bikes with cannons on them. They're fairly cheap and more the able to stop a transport of get to where they need to go on the field. Finally how do you plan to keep your farseer out of harms way? Just surround him with the pathfinders and hope he's ignored for more favorable targets?

Hey, all I know this isn't very interesting but I moved to El Paso, TX AKA nowheresville so if you live here or Las Cruces and wanna game PM me sometime!

It could be an effective list. I would suggest giving your Autarch a power blade instead of the laser lance unless you plan on attaching him to the shining spears so that he can garner the withdraw bonus.

As for not enough anti-tank, I wouldn't worry about that to much. With two Fire Prisms, there isn't much that they won't be able to destroy. With the range that they've got, they can sit in the corner of the table and ace anything, and remain relatively safe.

The only problem I see is not enough fire power. 25 sniper rifles will be nice against MC's and stuff, but since I've faced Pathfinders in 4 seperate games now, i can tell you each squad will only account for 1-2 MEQ deaths a firing round, if that. If you face a horde army, I can flat out tell you that you are done for. You won't have enough fire power to sink an infantry heavy gaurd army, a horde nid list, or even a troop heavy marine list. I would invest in a Dire Avenger squad with Blade Storm at the least. Ideally with a Wave Serpant to get them around.

I am just impressed that anyone can navigate through the codex to make a freakin list!

I like the pathfinder heavy thing but I think that 5x5 may be a bit too much "all eggs in one basket"

Thought much about wraithguard?

Drano doesn't exactly scream "toy" to me.

Wraithgaurd are still worthless in my opinion. I've fought against them 3 times, and only once did they get a chance to fire. I've seen them in several other games, and still only once did they get to do anything. They decimated a brood of genestealers, but where subsequentially slaughtered by the survivors.

For the points you spend on them, they can be better spent elsewhere. About the only thing they are good for is absorbing shots, and that is really not any good at all.
