I got a tourney in a week, a 2v2, and Im playing my DiY marines.  Here is the prelim list I have.

HQ:

Codicer w/command squad, inside a LRC (328 points)
Codicer w/ Vortex of Doom, Artificer Armor, Auspex, Bionics, Iron Halo, Krak, TH
Command Squad- 5 w/ BP/CCW, Furious Assault and Term Honor

Troops:

Tac squad- 8 Man with bolters, Furious charge (144)
Scout Squad Melee- 9 scouts with BP/CCW, Sgt w/ term honors and powerfist

Scout HB - 4x Sniper, 1HB
Scout ML- 4x Sniper, 1 ML

Elite-

Dev Squad- 1x LasCannon, 2xML, 2x Bolters, Tank hunters (depolyed as elite as per trait system)

The command squad needs work, I do own homemade drop pods, the problem is there will be at least 2 armies of shooty gaurd with tons of ML/AutoC/LasCannon.  My teammate is playing an Angron inspired LatD list
