Bored at work I was browsing thru the GW site and read the article on unorthodox gaurd armies, and saw the blood pact entire and I was wow'ed.  I have played every "good" army so far except gaurd and thought it might be fun to play a chaos army for once.

Now the issue is how to organize it, and that is the problem.  The doctrines are there, and storm troopers would be easy to figure out.  The problem is the heads and stalk tanks.  My idea from heads is to get a good chunk of Elysian Drop Pod trooper heads from FW, but stalk tanks are going to be a problem.   Any ideas?

If you're shopping forgeworld, you might as well go ahead and get renegade militia heads/torsos.

For stalk tanks, you could always convert sentinels in some way -- or a defiler (though I've always pictured stalk tanks as being closer in scale to sentinels).

I imagined stalk tanks to be similar to chimeras, or maybe salamanders.

One way to convert blood pact troopers is to use the chaos behicle accesory sprue and the gargoyle heads.

With the galaxy as large as it is the odds of the average guardsmen seeing and fighting a marine or MEQ are relatively slim. Unfortunately the guardsmen in your (and anyone else who plays IG's) army are the REALLY, REALLY LUCKY ones that fight marines ALL the time...
