I'm playing a tournament this weekend, and my Eldar aren't close to ready, so the Dark Angels are coming out again.  I've played very little 40k this year, but they won me a couple of tournaments last year and they're my best looking army.

This is pretty much the list I used in the last tourney.  The one before that I had another Las/Plas squad and no Dread.  The Dread looks nice though, so I'd like to use him.

Looks like a really fun list to play with.

I myself tend to prefer more heavy bolters at the expense of a few missile launchers, but then again your list looks a lot more aggressive than my style of play.

Thanks for the thoughts, Logan.  Your army looks very solid.  You obviously did a lot more damage to Chris' Nids than I did.

After-tourney notes:

Two massacres (Termie-heavy SM with pods in Alpha Cleanse, Space Wolves with pods in Gamma Secure & Control) and a minor victory (Tyranids in Omega Seek & Destroy) later, I took second place in the tourney.

I was #1 on battle points after round two, but Thetinman's Tyranids were in 2nd and were too tough for me to get the big points against. The 3rd place (after round 2) player had all-infiltrating Alpha Legion and tore up the 4th ranked Black Legion player, who came on piecemeal due to Escalation. Alpha Leagion leapfrogged me to take #1 overall, and I wound up in second place. Great tourney.

I think I need to tweak this list a bit to work better in Omega. The mobile theme of the army rules out trying to start with all/most of it on the table, because I'd have to change the list completely. So I'm thinking of ways to get the whole army into reserve in Escalation. Coming in piecemeal will always be a bit of a risk, but it's less of one, I think, than starting with 315pts on the table getting chewed on while waiting around for the rest of my army.
