Hi Everyone,

I have been painting and gaming for the last 14 years. I havent painted many 40k miniatures for a while as I have mainly been playing Warhammer but recently I have decided to revist my Eldar models. This being my first post on this forum I thought I would post my lasest WIP. I started to paint this over the weekend and should have it finished in the next day or two. I am happy with it so far and I am considering on doing a unit of these. If anybody has any questions feel free to ask.

Cheers,

Jamie

The system is a little weird as not all UBB codes work.

There is a "pic" button near the middle of the post bar at the top of the post screen that you enter the URL for the image that aligns it for the code used here.

anyways, your photobucket account has some doozies in there. I particulalrly like archaeon.

Thanks for the help and the compliment. That archaeon was painted last year. It took me two nights to do but I was happy with the way it came out. The Bretonnians are only part of an entire army.

I dont paint much for other people but if you want something in particular done just let me know.  I mainly paint as a hobby, I havent done any commission work before. I havent even checked out yet whether this site has PM setup. ")

Those are some of the nicest wraithguard I've ever seen.

My only piece of constructive criticism (and just for my taste) would be: If you painted all the gems a different color than the rest of the Wraithguard (say, the same purple color used on the tabbard) I think it would really make the model even better (which is hard to imagine really).

Great work!

I understand what you are saying and I thought I might have done that but I decided to go in the opposite direction I am going to do free hand on the tabard the same as the grey on the miniature so that it blends in together. The soul gem hasnt been finished yet and is going to be purple as well.

Yeah there is a PM system here. Look beneath each person mae or avatar. You'll see a small icon with an arrow through it and to the right of that it says "message" thats how you send pms to people.

To read you messages, there is a spot on near the top right of the screen.

pm sent to get you started! Email also sent.

I fixed your link, but don't use the [ IMG ] tags in the future.

Instead, when you click on 'reply' and the text editor window pops up, look above the text options for a little "picture" symbol. Click on that and a pop-up window will appear prompting you to enter the URL for the picture you want to insert.
