I got the inspiration for this list while reading HBMC's comments on another thread, and it occured to me that Cameleoline and Chem-inhalers make for a really good combination in an all-infantry guard list.  I used missile launchers instead of lascannons in the infantry squads because armor 14 tanks are very rare where I play, and a missile launcher is 10 points cheaper, so it was a good way for me to ecomomise.  I did not take missile launchers because of the template.  I took them because they do the same job as lascannons for me, but ten points cheaper.  However, I still included some lascannons and meltaguns in the army to give myself some options.

I took autocannons instead of heavy bolters in the fire support squads becasue of their longer range, since the small squads need to hang really far back to keep from getting singled out.  They also provide a nice middle ground weapon that can do something against both infantry and tanks.

The three command squads are basically counter-fire units that stay hidden until an enemy unit gets close enough, then they move up and add a little extra punch at close range.  I took Drop Troops and Close Order Drill because they do not cost points, not because I plan to use them often or at all.  I can't think of anything worth taking for the final doctrine slot.

Man, that's the joy of Anime! To revel in the complete and utter wastefullness of making an unstoppable nuclear-powered combat andriod in the shape of a cute little girl, who has the ability to fall in love and wears an enormous bow in her hair.

I dunno about those Chem Inhalers. Sometimes you really need your Guardsmen to break after that first turn in close combat, and 170 points is a lot...

Why missile launchers instead of Lascannons? Do you not have the models? In the way 40k works right now I can't ever imagine a situation where you'd take a ML over a Lascannon in an IG list.
