Ok, in an effort to save me some money (being the only source of income in a married household with E-4 pay leaves one with a bit to desire), I'm attempting to cash in on a Blue Table offer. Since they have paid for advertising on this site, I hope the Mods don't mind me doing this. I've been playing this game for more then half my life now. Started back in 2nd Edition, and have sucked at painting ever so badly since day one. I shudder when I pull my old orcs out of the closet... I've always wanted to have them professionally painted, but as I mentioned up above, money's never really been my strong point either. Enter Blue Table. They've made it possible for me to get the majority of my Eldar army painted, in a rather monetarily efficient manner. If you've worked with them before, you know they have the paint job set up by levels. 2 being the lowest, 9 being the highest. 3 is considered base. Because I am doing this on a budget I had to go with Level 2. They say on their website that there are some obvious flaws with a level 2 job. I have no clue what their talking about myself. I think the models look wonderful. That was done at half price from their standard fee. Some of you may see flaws, but your the type who are awesome painters anyways. For those of us who couldn't paint our way out of a wet paper bag... well, I'm real glad I found these guys. No more do I have to stare at my just primed models, while everyone else runs around with some nicely painted armies. Edit: Oh yeah, forgot this part. http://www.bluetablepainting.com/

I think they look great, and a good price too. If that is something you have wanted for so long, I would be quite pleased with the results. I can't see any huge flaws.

The hole lot? All in all, close to $400 right now, and I've gotten probably 1800pts of Eldar painted. With some terrain and Marines thrown in.

Wow... that's a pretty darn good price for that much work. I agree that it looks nice too- I wish everyone that played had a nicely painted army

I like it a lot, a whole army similar to this gal would be a fine force to face. That said, I think it's really the scheme that does it for me more than technical trickery - did you specify it? It's very nice. Hopefully you'll post more pics?

By request. Eldrad, and Asurman they where done at Level 5, which is the standard level for Special Characters. Some more Howling Banshees Striking Scorpions Dire Avengers And Guardians Here's also a Combat Squad of Marines I had them do in my Chapters colors. All these (Excluding the Eldrad, and Asurman) where done at level 2, which is half the price of their standard fee. I also have some Warlocks, Fire Dragons, Warp Spiders, Swooping Hawks, and another squad of Marines being worked on them right now, with a couple peices of Eldar terrain being built as well. And you've all seen how nice a job they do on terrain. I'm glad you guys like them. Maybe some of you will get a chance to play against them in the future. Edit: If any of this convinces you to contract them to work on some models, please list me as a reference.

For being level 5, the upper section of Eldrad's staff is pretty haggard.

The Eldar don't look too bad though Eldrad for a "level 5" looks pretty rushed, but the marines are terrible for commission painting. They look dirty with BTP's dip/glazes they use and the detail for instance on the bottom marines helmet is very lacking.

I thought I'd toss up the most recent batch I have gotten back from them. I should have another set coming back soon, mostly Marines though. Needed to get a warlock council for Eldrad to run around with. The Warp Spiders. I love the way the Exarch came out. Fire Dragons (The Exarch picture is real blurry, and doesn't do it much justice). And my favorite of the bunch. The Swooping Hawks. And I know the Marines wheren't a big favorite, but I like them anyways. And a Veteran Sgt who's killed Wraithlords, Terminator Squads, and even a Lictor in close combat.
