What happens if I shoot at a Falcon with VE and immobilise it ? Does the SMF rule still apply for that shooting phase ? The rule say that mobile skimmers moving more than 6" the previous turn can only be glanced, and it isn't mobile...

You've found the magic quote. I originally had that question in the Eldar FAQ (well it's still there, but I removed it from my yakFAQ), but then I noticed exactly what you did.

Only MOBILE skimmers benefit from SMF so once immobile, it's 'punch city'. Not only that but Immobilized Skimmers no longer count as Skimmers anyway so technically the rule wouldn't even apply even if it didn't say the blurb about being mobile.

yakface's 40K rule #1: Although the rules allow you to use modeling to your advantage, how badly do you need to win your toy soldier games?

yakface's 40K rule #3: Codex does not ALWAYS trump the rulebook, so please don't say that!

So the SMF rule doesn't work then ? Excellent, now I have a very good reason to take Railguns against Eldar...

Nope. An immobilized vehicle is neither mobile nor a skimmer and can therefore not benefit from SMF.
