These guys are T4, 3+ SV with a 4+ Inv and turbo boost, fortune and witchblades!  Its an expensive unit but it should be fairly durable right?

Is this better than a single autarch, or too many points?

It's very durable except in two possible cases:

(1) a psychic hood negates fortune
(2) in hand-to-hand, somebody allocates a bunch of str6 instakilling hits on the farseer (which can be done now that he's an independent character) and takes him out, negating the squad's ability to cast fortune

It's probably 600 points minimum, so you'd be building the rest of the army around it. But it can work.

Its about 350 with 4 warlocks and , fortune and a sprinkling of Spears.

1) Stupid Psychic hoods, I forgot about those. Is there any counter for that other than nuking the librarian?
2) What dishes out alot of S6 attacks?
- Dreads, grey knights, demon princes....

I guess then the second question is, what would the rest of the army look like? I was thinking a couple Spearlock Jetbike Squads, some wave serpents with DA, and Snakes on a plane.

The problem is it always looks like a small number of models. Actually, every eldar army looks alot smaller then it used to for some reason.

Mix shining spears into that unit, and its a good 'un!

str 6, Init 5, hit an run. Its an odd manuevering puzzle to figure out, but there is a good synergy there.

Yeah, not many models in eldar armies as of right now. Hell, my 1850 Lustwing out numbers my 1850 eldar army by 12 models.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

Hellfury: I am sure you mean Singing Spears.

Whitedragon: Forget the vulnerabilities. Your unit is fast enough that it will be choosing its opponents and not (usually) the other way around. Its a Culexus assassin that tops the worry list though - but how often will you see them?

If facing horde armies consider adding Destructor to most of the Warlocks. Its very nasty and now you dont need psychic tests to use it.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

No. I mean Shining spears, the blue and white stripped aspect warriors who zip around on super zoomy death.

They are not literally added, as in squad upgrade, but travel with the warlocks. I find it highly effective.

I've thought about that as well hellfury, adding in some jetbike warlocks with singing spears to a shining speer unit. That way the unit is pretty much capable of killing anything.

Normal gaurdian jetbikes are a cheaper add on for the shining spear tactic, but the warlocks are quite good as well. It depends on what the target is.
