I read and reread the rule, but i want to make one thing clear that i dont understand.

Does "monstrous creatures" also mean "tyranid monstrous creatures"? They are two different things, and I'm just wondering if a tyranid that is a monstrous creature ignores the preferred enemy rule

thanks

Whether or not it's a Tyranid, it's still a monstrous creature. Thus, Preferred Enemy doesn't apply. Makes Ultra 'Nid Hunters even less worth it.

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake;
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Afraid so. I thought they removed the distinction between TMCs and MCs in the last nid codex anyway. No?
