Now if they did this for fantasy I would actually start playing.

That's cool! It's nice to see GW doing something with Specialist Games. Too bad that besides a rare new release, support is almost nonexistant at this point. Specialist Games are really some of the best games GW has.

I too would love to see a WFB araby army. It already has enough to make it distinct from the empire and bretonnia: camels, elephants, daemons, flying carpets!

anyone still plays Warmaster? It was a one-month wonder out my way (along with BattleFleet Gothic, Gorka Morka, Inquisitor etc etc)

Sure. Plenty of people play Specialist Games. I myself play Mordheim at least as often as I play 40K. And I have four Epic armies. Just because they aren't as popular as, um, the most popular GW game, doesn't mean that nobody plays them. Heck, the rules are superior (not to mention free). Yes, the level of support is lacking, but it's better than nothing; at least you can download the rules and they still make the miniatures, which is more than I can say for the likes of Talisman and Man O' War. I so wanted to get into Warmaster. Just couldn't find players which ate into my inspiration to paint.

Not enough people play. Once in a while I see a game of Inquisiter being played but thats it.

GW should really get around to making an Araby army for fantasy. I'd buy it.

As refreshing as the release is, I see very little of anything new and original in it. They just took a bunch of cliché Arabian elements and made an army based on that. There's no je ne sais quoi.

I think that's the whole idea with the warmaster army not a huge set up cost to produce, direct only, so they can make to order compare it to the sales of other warmaster armies , if enough people purchase and show interest, maybe get the design department to look into a Warhammer army

That's what they used to do with Epic vehicles. They made all sorts of wacky stuff. The good stuff got made into 40K vehicles.
