I just now looked at what I printed from the GW site (US) for the Mounted Demonettes. I was glad to see they put these on the website for the GT's this year as some folks would not let me use them b/c they were not in the Codex. I just hit print and left them on the printe from a couple days ago.

This morning I pulled the rules off of the printer.  I had to double check my old CA to be sure I've not been playing them wrong. My printout for Mounted Demonettes clearly shows they have a WS5. My old CA book has them at WS4.  Everything else stayed the same.

Hmmm, printing error or playtesting for the new Codex. You be the judge. But, I've got another reason to paint my second unit now.

If you don't mind Ill add to you question. Does anyone know how they fit into Lost and the Damned?

They're still WS4 in the British site.

Methinks they are supposed to be WS4. But as for lost and the damned they'd be daemon packs (fast attack) wouldn't they?

Daemon Packs are elites and daemonic beasts are FA

Well, I guess GW US printed an error. It is now updated showing WS4. It's the exact same page from the CA from a few years ago.

Use the WS5 for personally I say they are not worth their points most of the time with out it.  I mean it was up on the GW site so it must be legal.  Yes its an buttmunch way at looking at things but try them at WS5 and let everyone you are playing against know.

The different stats are because there are two different versions of the rules - 1 for Warhammer and 1 for 40K. The WS5 version is part of the Warhammer rules in WD, while the WS4 version for 40K is from Chapter approved. Each game system had slightly different rules for the Mounted Daemonettes.

WS5 for the Hordes list? Wow, thats actually a great improvement, and makes alot of sense when you consider that even Fleshhounds have WS5. I've always found them to be pretty weak for the points too, despite the speed.

What issue of WD was that in? I assume its clearly stated that this overrides the previous WD and the Chronicles that their rules originally appeared in?
