i inheritted a space wolves army back in 3rd edition haven't touched it & it's not complete in my opion . it did come w/ the SW codex . i do not have the regular space marine codex . my question is can i outfit a venerable dreadnaught w/ a plasma cannon like in the space wolf codex , some one told me space marines can't use them on dreadnaughts in the new codex ? which is correct ? i checked the GW faq, didn't find anything, surprise,surprise,surprise. 

The SW venerable can take a plasma cannon.
