Brotherhood of Blood

1500pts

Avatar

Maugan Ra

2X4 Reapers

3X12 Gaurdian squads with Bright Lances

12 Gaurdians with missile Launcher

10 Banshees

5 Warpspider including Exarch with exrta shots

3 Vibro cannon support battery

I will basically try and castle around a hidden Avatar to make everyone fearless.  Use the gaurdians and Vibro's to hunt enemy armor.   The Banshees and Maugan to hunt enemy infantry.  Warp spiders are for harrasing both infantry and light armor.  Banshees, Avatar, and Maugan are for counter attack.

At 1850 I throw in 5 more warpsiders with Exarch.  Give both Spider squads suprise assault and add two more gaurdian squads one with missile launcher and one with bright lance.

Feedback welcome.

Heh, reminds me of your daemonhunters army, Lemartes. The spiders are the deepstriking GKs, the guardians are the standoff & shoot units.

It feels light, like it doesn't have enough shooting to slow a dedicated assault force or to outshoot a shooty force (reapers have a lot of firepower, but die easily even in cover). Also I feel like the Avatar is not a dependable source of fearlessness, and the banshees as countercharge are hit-or-miss compared with more-reliable harlequins.

But it might work anyway.
