I just finished this list for when I expand my army to 1500pts constructive criticism is welcome.

I am not that familiar with CHAOS, mainly play SOB but is there really a need for bionics on the Lord, and why 2 power fists in retinue. maybe put jump pack on lord or Demonic strength or Presence

I gave the lord bionics mostly for fluff reasons, and the retinue has powerfists so that they have a chance of destroying a dreadnought in close combat (my friend has two and plans on getting a third). I didn't have enough points for 7 and I didn't want the whole squad to have them.

Take it or leave it, here's the list with a few tweaks of mine:

Lord - MoCU, furious charge, twin lightning claws, terminator armor, bionics, resilience = 150

7 Chosen Terminators - MoCU, furious charge, 2 reapers, 2 powerfists, 1 chainfist = 338

Elites

2 Obliterators = 140

Troops

8 CSM - MoCU, lascannon, plasma gun = 145

8 CSM - MoCU, autocannon, plasma gun = 140

8 CSM - MoCU, infiltrate, 2 meltaguns, AC w/ powerfist, t.homer = 197

Heavy Support

Basilisk - Indirect = 125

Defiler = 150

Predator - Autocannon, heavy bolters, extra armor = 115

Total

1500 points

Didn't end up changing all that much, just a few things here and there.  I think most anyone would tell you you're insane to take 8 terminators with the clear intention of deep striking them in, weathering a storm of fire and then hitting combat.  Well, I agree, but I like it and it's totally ballsy and awesome - so much that I pumped even more points into them!  You said you're up against dreads and such a lot, well then a chainfist should be just the thing to ruin their day a little more (and 3 more powerfist attaks on the charge hurts anyone).  The reapers are in there so that a) on the turn you drop you can trash an enemy squad way more effectively than just pittering it with combi-bolters; b) you can hurt rear armor on most all vehicles you meet backfield; and c) you can realistically deploy the terminators on the board (what about missions with no deep strike?) and provide some real firepower as you move up into assault / counter-assault.

The other change was to give all of your CSM MoCU.  This is partially a personal thing - if most of the army has it, why not all? - that makes for a 'cleaner' list, but you have so few squads that having those 2 squads stick around is going to be worth the 16 points.  I also wanted to do something for your vehicles, like mutated hull or indirect on the defiler, but couldn't find the points to do it.  Extra armor on the pred was the best protection I could manage.

And all of this at the cost of just 1 oblit.

The Hammer

Knowing what little I do about Chaos, I can still say that for IW your list will probably be considered very sporting - proper-sized units of marines, obliterators all in one squad, only three heavy support and only two pie plates ought to be a nice relief from the dreaded "internet list" IWs of cheese - with 2x5 MEQs and fat flying Demon Prince of Doom acting as skirmishers and countercharge respectively to 6-9 Obliterators and four pieces of ordnance.

When soldiers think, it's called routing.

The List Boos Salvage posted is pretty close to ideal, but I would have Dark Blade+CCW on the Lord.

I like your style Honsou. It embodies the basic elements of Chaos being a very CC army while still keeping a nice edge of being IW.

Very competitive and Very fluffy.

I like it although I'm not to sure if I want the reaper autocannons
