hello again...here's the third installment in the starter set series...unfortunately, the cygnar and khador starters are buried in the load of photo files at h.q., so this will be the last of the starter set pics for a while...
 here i was told to copy the original look of the minis...the only thing i did different, was to use brown to highlight denegrha's skirt... i thought it made a nice change from the greys or blues we usually see used to highligt black...i know that these models are way too clean, but that's how i paint...i call 'em the carwash cryx...

are you a pressganger or something that you paint all those battleboxes?

no, i'm not a press ganger...i don't play any games actually...i'm just a junkie...i have to have every little sculpted soldier i can get my paint-stained hands on...i wouldn't go so far as to say i was a rivethead, since i never worked outta the h.q., but i was paintin' commissions for mike for a couple years...my minis were in the 2004 catalogue, escalation, and apotheosis...then two years ago i moved to mexico to surf and live cheap off mini paintin', but the mail service down there screwed that up by losin' the next two jobs i did for mcvey...a year ago i moved back to the states to resume paintin' for privateer, but missed the print deadline for superiority...now i'm in the doghouse...no more commissions from mike...i burn a lot of bridges in this business, cause i'm the slowest painter i know...me and deadlines are enemies...i did it with croc, and privateer...bein' a pro painter is not all it's cracked up to be...a lot of stress, and very little reward...
now i work for aberrant games here in so. cal., but the minis i'm workin' on now won't see the light of day until may...we'll see how long i last before these guys fire me too...
