hi folks

im converting up a FW commander culln and am considering using either the new robed helmetless da head or the company champion head and was wondering if anyone else has done this or if anyone has these bits and could just take a quick picture of them to show me if it looks ok!

thanks in advance

They put a robed head on a plastic terminator in the DA codex.

They fit okay and it looked quite nice.

I'm working on a Culln DA conversion at the moment and will post pics as it processes. I'm currently sculpting the tabbard.

On a side note the Culln body will take pretty much any head you want to pop into it. It is nicely sculpted and has a deep recess. with plenty of room.

what additions are you making to the tabard? adding one behind the sheid or sculption a small tabard over the top of it? im planning a robed head and a tabard from waist down behind the shield to make it look a bit like a monk/adeptus robe. that similar to your ideas? reckon it would work?

You will see young padawan, you will see.

I'll post some WIP photos here soon. Maybe this week.

Personally I think that placing the pelvis shield over the top of the tabbard makes more sense. It is also a nice peice of surface detail and a shame to kill. In mine I have a tabard covering part of the chest and the "tail" of the robes flowing under the shield. So it looks like he is wearing the rest of the armour over the top of the under garment.

Add to that rare earth magnets on the torso and multiple arm options and you can choose either his sword of secrets and a storm bolter, or the thunder hammer and storm shield.

This guy will be a model of Belial.
