Hey everyone,

I was assembling my first Devout (Warmachine, Menoth faction light warjack) last night.  There were three 'shoulder pad' pieces in the box.  Needless to say, the jack has only two shoulders...

DId I get a mispackaged third shoulder pad, or is there somewhere else it's supposed to go?  Like over its butt or something?

Thanks for any help.  The last time I had a similar problem, I was puzzled by what turned out to be a Revenger's Arc Node...

Try the crotch. If extra pieces don't go there, they probably
don't go anywhere. But seriously, it's an extra.

And I'm with ya on the Arc Nodes. I hate how they look
anyway.

Devout only uses two shoulder pads... you got a mispack, in your favor.

Same thing happened to me... one devout came with an extra shoulder pad, and one actually came with an extra arm.

Out of the 8 devouts I've purchased, that is the only mispack I've encountered

Gabe: What in Menoth's name do you need eight devouts for?

Its my favorite Jack in the game, so I have a 750 list planned that includes 8 devouts, Amon Ad-Raza, and three full choirs. Plus some solos.

I have another variant that uses The Harbinger instead of Amon

I hear you Gabe. I love Devouts along with their twins (same chassis), the Dervish. Some of the best looking 'jacks in the game along with the recent Cygnar lights.

Since you have so many, will you be varying their poses? Personally I think Devouts look even better in a static pose:

The majority will still be in the running pose, with variations on arm poses. I will have some that are static posed though as well... these will likely be the two or three that always stay with Amon/Harby to protect them, while the others run out and cause havoc.

oh, and eventually I *will* own a minimum of 8 dervishes as well

Cool. Please post some pics when you're done!

Cool, thanks.

I guess I need spare bits to model up some disabled and/or wrecked jack counters anyways...
